The information on the podcast was great . I have no children my husband, still the nuggets on conversation of parents and parenting awesome .

I love hearing positive dialogue about AA/black people. Many news outlets are quick to highlight negative images of us. Thank you both for being a role model to children of how to agree to disagree and most importantly how to love yourself, one another and your family.

I’m with Deval on if you want to start something JUST START IT! I don’t care for the new year to start anything. If I want to do something I’m going to start doing it. Being dedicated, consistent, not trying to come up w/ excuses and staying focus.

I started following your podcast from the monogamy episode I viewed a clip I believe on YouTube. I was hooked to both of your insight, Kay’s wit and Devale’s humor. I love the way you express love to each other. I binge listened from the verybeginnign and this show and your views have evolved. Thank you guys for sharing, I’m sure that it is not easy.

I remember seeing these 2 for the first time on a show called Black Love. They grabbed my attention immediately from their body language. The Mrs had her legs draped over his and he sat there accepting it all. As they started talking about their journey Devale started to cry at some point. Khadeen seemed taken by surprised and immediately comforted him. Since then I was hooked on these 2 and their love. Few years later Devale winded up on Sistas and I was like what? I looked him up and started following him and his wife. Now they have this amazing podcast and they are both beautiful smart and talented. Triple threats. Oh and amazing parents. They always bring me out of a rut and lift me up. They are vulnerable, honest and super brave to share so much of their love and vulnerability. I’d love to meet them one day. Go to one of the shows on tour. They are friends in my head and heart and I truly love them both!

I’m not sure if it’s their Northern accent or the topics.. J/K I really love both Devale and Khadeen and the topics they both talk about. Very good podcast!

I’ve been with my boyfriend for 9 years and listening to you guys really helped me better myself for my relationship. It’s never the position that you would expect each of them to take most times which keeps the podcast fun and unpredictable. Range of topics is also a plus not the same ole same ole with it comes to relationships…

Devale is really on this episode comparing a push present to a vasectomy present😒 Are we forreal? The energy and life it takes to bring a child into this world cannot be compared to a 15 minute procedure. And your wife did it naturally!! Women can acknowledge your feelings and not have to compare the two because fundamentally and factually the two cannot be compared.

Absolutely love this podcast. Been listening since the first episode. They are super transparent and honest and give great advice. So thankful for this podcast. My only issue is that the episodes go by so fast but I know that’s me being greedy because the length is fine it’s just so good and goes by too fast for me because the conversation and info is so good that I don’t want it to end.

Kay and Devale are my ALL TIME FAVORITE! They are transparent and don’t hide nothing ! I love their honesty and they don’t care for anyone’s opinions which I love them for that ! Keep doing what you both are doing, I will always support you guys!!

I was soo excited when I found out you guys had a podcast, I’m super late but I wasn’t into podcasts as much as I am now. I was so excited I click on the first one I saw 😂and it was (living in Houston) after I finished that episode I was so happy I had a laughed a bit and really heard what you guys said about your relationship and supporting one another I loved it . My wife told me to check this out. It’s good to hear black situational talk about ups, down and the all arounds. It’s real, raw, funny and emotional. You let everybody, good couple, bad couple or what ever know that’s it’s ok to get it wrong and fantastic when you learn to get it right. And even when you get it right it’s ok to trip a little.

The love, wisdom, and ENERGY that these 2 bring!! They are the only reason I’ve opened up the podcast app on my iphone. Forreal though, the topics they discuss make me feel like i am diving into my own relationship and i can relate so much. Sometimes they express things way better than I ever could. This week’s episode was so on time! I just started working out with a personal trainer. It the be thing I could’ve done for myself. I like lifting weights but I have some injuries so he’s doing corrective work. I’d never have thought of these workouts on my own. Also, form is so important. I’m with you Kay on the protein kick as well!! 💪🏾

As a fellow millennial woman I am very much like Kay. I can not remember all my points during debates and I depend on my masculine counterpart to say what they mean and what they say! Relationships will tell you, this is not always the case and it helps so much to hear a married couple going through this. A great episode, I really enjoyed the conversation and vulnerability between you both. What I noticed, and I’m sure is common throughout A lot of relationships is that we are have expectations of our partners based on what we would do or how we would handle a situation, and when that doesn’t come to fruition, it creates an issue out of no where that leads to arguments. In retrospect, we can see that if we had been straight up communicating Our wants and needs the self created mind games could have all been avoided. Thank you for another great podcast and ways to combat these situations in life and relationships. #Deadass
