I have never read the comics but have always been a Batman fan. I listen every week while I wash windows and it makes my day. I had no idea there would be this many episodes and I hope it continues for a very long time!

I’ve got a sub and the adds are still here. Not sure if that’s a glitch with just this pod or what, but I won’t be subbed anymore.

Grew up listening too the old radio shows on a local station back in the 60’s, This is just like the old weekly cliff hangers every week. Great times

Reminds me of Batman the audio adventures. I’ve always been a fan of Year one, Dark Victory and of course the long Halloween.

If it’s your goal to irritate listeners that are waiting for the next episode to drop, indicating that the podcast was recently updated when it clearly has NOT been updated is certainly a good way to do it. ———————That’s not deceptive at all and people Loooove deceptive….

Did you forget while recording that this is meant to be received in audio format? Meaning especially with the inexplicably louder-than-dialog sound effects, your performers needed to be told to ENUNCIATE. You had all the tools here to make something great and you mumbled it away during all the drinking and breathing sounds that you made several aggregate minutes’ worth of in the two episodes I struggled to listen to.

I’m a young person with an old soul. I’ve always loved radio dramas, and super hero comics. I’ve listened to The Shadow, and the old Superman show too! I listen to more modern BBC radio dramas from originals to novel adaptations. So when I spotted a Batman Radio Drama I couldn’t believe it. Until I heard it! This is one of the best ideas DC has had in the last decade. It’s bringing new life to these popular and iconic storylines. I’d never read Year One or Long Halloween, but now I can say I have! I hope this series continues to adapt more stories. I hope DC adapts more heroes to radio once again!

I’m 30 episodes in, and i don’t need an explanation 2 or more times an episode about two face and how he became two face for example. It’s not just two face either it’s almost every character. I’d understand if each episode were standalone but since it’s not it’s just a waste of time to keep explaining these things over and over again.

I’m a huge fan of “Golden Age” radio drama & Batman comics. These extremely high quality adaptations of some of my favorite Batman comics from my teenage years remind me of said dramas. The sound quality of these episodes are so fantastic, listening to them with good headphones is a completely immersive experience. Please make more of these adaptations DC, Grant Morrison Superman maybe?

I’m a lifelong Batman fan and I purposefully didn’t listen to this right away because I knew i wouldn’t be able to stop. It’s better than I thought and I had high hopes. I think we all know it’s time to make Knightfall next.

Why does there have to be explicit episodes?

It’s fine. Makes me miss the Batman audio adventures from a few years ago. Very well made, but almost totally devoid of fun.

I am a 14 year old boy who loves Batman and used to love this podcast but now I can’t listen to it because the episodes are now explicit… I know that not y’all’s fault but still very disappointing. Before that though great podcast!

Please keep this podcast going! I’m about to subscribe for your yearly subscription. These are so much fun to listen to at work. I have read these stories hundreds of times but the reenactment of them here is amazing ❤️

So immersive, incredible voice acting and music score! Easy to follow what’s going on with the narration while still allowing for dialogue and background noise to tell most of the story. I can’t wait for each new episode to be released! Please, please keep making these!!!

I didn’t think I was a huge Year One guy but as a fan of both old time radio serials and modern audio dramas this one blew away! Pls keep making more! Episode 3 is my favorite! “The Raid/Dredd” vibes. The series at large evokes Green Hornet, Gotham, The Dark Knight and films like The Place Beyond the Pines to me. Gritty, intricate crime drama- with fanfare for proud nerds like me

Everything is great, voice acting, audio and sound effects, etc. But episodes are too short and there’s too many ads for the short ones

Great voice acting and audio quality. I was annoyed at the shortness of the first season episodes, but very happy with the longer ones in season 2.

I love that there are more episodes every week and they keep everything interesting. Had me hooked since the first episode. I just don’t like that almost half of the episode is credits. And I don’t like that the episodes are short.

Wish I did not pay for this podcast. The voice acting is not great, it is hard to tell who is who. Awful pacing because the episodes are too short to enjoy, 1/3 of the 10 minutes are credits. Bring back great voice acting like in Audio Adventures. Bring back Audio Adventures too!

High production quality. Great stories. A must listen for any Batman or DC fan.

The BBC did radio dramas of Batman: Knightfall and The Death of Superman. This reminds me of those. Hope they do Batman: Venom in a future season. That’s a great story that’s never been adapted into other media.

Voice acting, sound design, writing, editing, music, the whole thing is absolutely phenomenal. I hope this show continues on forever!

Very good edition of Batman audio episodes. I recommend to anyone who is a fan of Batman. Audio/acting is great.

I love DC, so much in-depth to every character. CAN’T WAIT FOR SUPERMAN LEGACY. Please make a Knightfall one!

I think the voice work on this is top notch. Jason does an incredible job doing the ‘voices’ of Bruce and the interview with him makes it clear he understands the character. I also think Jim really gets a chance to shine here, hearing his thoughts alongside the excellent sound design just makes this an incredible experience. Harvey was also a surprise, his voice sounds younger and refreshing. Can’t wait for the Long Halloween to wrap up and hopefully see some more from this cast.

I have been reading the best Batman graphic novels and just made it to Year One and heard about High Volume. Reading along to this podcast has been amazing! I would love to see DC do this with even more comics, High Volume is an amazing idea.

This is a top-tier, listening experience, great voice acting, but I shouldn’t be paying for a short episodes like this, and it makes me want to cancel my subscription. I just need more content!
