Episode 3 of Day Drinking Nashville features one of country music's best lead guitarists, Rich Eckhart. The first is made from most widely planted red variety of grape in Austria, Zweigelt. Hugl Secco Zweigelt Rose' is made from 100% Zweigel, a cross between the St Laurent and Blaufrankisch, and has strawberry, cherry, and floral notes. It is also a sparkling rose', making it amazingly refreshing! Mmmmmm..... tastes like the Sound of Music! The second one we sip on is an Austrian white, Hugl Gruner Veltliner. This is equally refreshing, as we enjoyed it chilled and in charge. With citrus and grapefruit aromas, exotic tropical fruits with a hint of white pepper, this wine is medium bodied, crisp, and has just the right amount of minerality.
