Does Matthew 22:23-33 prove that the Book of Enoch is Scripture?
Did the Messiah consider the Book of Enoch to be "Scripture"? Adam Fink from Parable of the Vineyard says yes. Adam claims that Yeshua uses the Book of Enoch in Matthew 22:23-33 when he corrects the Sadducees regarding the resurrection, directly referencing it as "Scripture." In this short video, we examine this passage to see if it supports this claim. https://davidwilber.com/ --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/david-wilber/support

Peter's Warning About the Antinomians Who Twist Paul's Letters (2 Peter 3:15-17)
In 2 Peter 3:15-17, Peter warns that Paul’s letters contain content that is “hard to understand” and which “the ignorant and unstable” misinterpret. He then connects the mishandling of Paul’s letters to “lawless people.” In this video, I argue that 2 Peter 3:15-17 represents Peter’s warning regarding antinomians (individuals who reject God’s law) who misinterpret passages in Paul’s letters to advocate for lawlessness. www.davidwilber.com --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/david-wilber/support

5 Reasons to Avoid the Eth Cepher
If you’ve been involved in Messianic and Torah observant circles for long, chances are you’ve come across a “Bible” called the Eth Cepher. This “Sacred Name” version of the Bible is marketed as a restoration of the “true” scriptures, and it contains many unique features not found in any other Bible version. Many believers have expressed interest in this Bible, driven by a genuine desire to embrace the Jewish roots of their faith and dive deeper into God’s word. However, the Eth Cepher cannot satisfy that desire. Instead, it leads believers to confusion, false doctrine, and foolishness. In this short video, I provide 5 reasons to avoid the Eth Cepher: The Eth Cepher plagiarizes Wikipedia and other sources. The people behind the Eth Cepher are unqualified. The Eth Cepher employs bizarre, inaccurate transliterations. The Eth Cepher includes non-inspired books. The Eth Cepher contains numerous mistranslations. I elaborate on each of these points in the video. While much more could be said, I hope this short video will be enough to encourage everyone to avoid this “Bible.” --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/david-wilber/support

Does God the Father Have a "Body"?
I had the honor of interviewing Pastor and Christian apologist Anthony Rogers, discussing his recent debate with Sean Griffin on the topic of whether God the Father exists in a “body” in heaven. Sean believes that God the Father eats, goes to the bathroom, and has an eternally-circumcised male organ. (I’m not kidding.) I have watched countless debates over the years, but this one stood out as uniquely devastating. Anthony completely dismantles Sean’s pagan concept of God. The whole debate was informative and entertaining. Anyway, I had to have Anthony on my channel to discuss this bizarre topic. I was not aware that anyone today (besides Mormons) actually believed that the God of the universe is limited to a body, but apparently this idea is gaining traction in some corners of the Internet. Anthony explains why this topic is important and argues that the idea of God the Father having a body is not only inconsistent with the Bible but also blasphemous. https://davidwilber.com/ --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/david-wilber/support

The Law of Christ vs. the Law of Moses? (Galatians 6:2; 1 Corinthians 9:21)
The expression “law of Christ” appears only two times in the New Testament (Galatians 6:2; 1 Corinthians 9:21). Traditionally, interpreters have frequently understood this expression to refer to a new “law” or ethic that supersedes the law of Moses. However, there is a growing scholarly consensus that “law of Christ” directly refers to the law of Moses in some sense. This video makes a case for interpreting the phrase “law of Christ” in Galatians 6:2 and 1 Corinthians 9:21 as a reference to the law of Moses as it is taught and exemplified by Christ. https://davidwilber.com/ --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/david-wilber/support

Who Created God? - A Response to Justin from "Bullet Holes in the Bible"
For centuries, Christians and other theists have utilized cosmological arguments to support the proposition that God exists. However, Justin from "Bullet Holes in the Bible" insists that Christians who employ such arguments are guilty of "doublethink." He illustrates this with the simple question: "Who created God?" With this question, has Justin successfully dismantled the very foundation of religious belief? In this short video, we discuss why this question misses the point. https://davidwilber.com/ --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/david-wilber/support

The Name "Yeshua" is NOT Demonic
Liz Hall, a Christian content creator on TikTok, recently claimed that the name “Yeshua” is, in fact, a designation for Satan. According to her, this revelation was revealed to her by demons, and she insisted that believers who refer to the Messiah by this name are unwittingly engaging in the worship of Satan. But is the name Yeshua actually demonic? In this short video, I address Liz’s wild claims. https://davidwilber.com/ --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/david-wilber/support
