Welcome to Dates with Dementia, my way of expressing my relationship with my late Grandmother as her mental state deteriorated. I've wanted to write about the good, the bad and the ugly with degenerative brain disease but never been able to express myself as well as I can through verbal storytelling. There will be fun stories involving carrots, and sad stories about complete lack of recognition, diving into the past and into how she coped with the modern world.
