In this solo episode I am sharing some thoughts and observations on our inability to have a conversation and communicate effectively both online and offline and how our "dancing" around sensitive subjects does not help us come to any resolution of most important societal issues.
I am also telling the story of my "All is One" project, the creation of which was triggered and inspired by this year's events in the US and in the world.
"All is One" is a multimedia art project that is meant to create a platform for people to speak up and listen to each other's opinions and thoughts with a hope to relearn the forgotten art of conversation.
In this episode I refer to the following writings and interview:
"Intimations" by Zadie Smith

"White Debt" by Eula Biss

In this short solo episode I share some of my ideas and observations about using examples to inspire your work and life, thinking independently, unlearning to look around and deciding whether or not you need a reference to become your true self.

There was an article in NY Magazine recently discussing possible changes to educational system triggered by switching to online learning. As a result, campus life as we know it will be non-existent.
Attending school without having campus experience is a perfect example of how other experiences that we are used to might change.
In this episode I invite you to think of a bigger question - will the way we experience life be different in the future?

The more time we spend with ourselves, the more we get to tap into our authenticity.
“Renaissance of Self” is a beautiful term I came up with recently as I think that so many of us will go through this as a result of self-isolation.
