Recap of last week’s Truth/Dare: (Bretagne)

• Truth: When was the last time you meditated?
  • Anike: Recently, in the last week
  • Johanna: Don’t really meditate, but wants to
  • Bretagne: A few weeks.
• Dare: Start your day with meditation or with intention 5 out of 7 days.
  • Anike: I did it everyday, woke up, brushed my teeth, and then either did yoga, dancing or scripture reading. And the day went a lot  better because I felt in control of my day.
  • Johanna: Didn’t set an intention, because there was loss in the family, but Instead of setting my own intention, I was open to letting others set the intention. And allowed myself to grieve, and was open to being shown how to set an intention. Even while sick, was able to take control of a time when so much was out of control.
  • Bretagne: Everyday I played a motivational message and wrote my own inspirational message. And it helped me stay positive throughout the day. And I started to share my theme and thoughts with others.

New Truth: (Johanna): When was the last time you didn’t feel included? Why didn’t you include yourself?

• Johanna: At my partner’s family’s house, I rushed through the house to go use the restroom, and then I ignored people when I went to get my jacket, I passed family members 3 times, and didn’t greet them. And I didn’t hear them greet me,..
• Bretagne: I went to a party where people knew each other, and I didn’t know anyone. And my first thought was I don’t belong here, and I was focused on how I don’t fit, instead of enjoying myself, I compared myself.
• Anike: When I lived with my Father in law, with siblings who are younger and introverted, when I would come home, no one would acknowledge me which was different from our family who always greets you and gives you a grand exit.

Instead of thinking what these other people can do to serve you, think about how you can serve them.

If you include others, you will be included.

New Dare: (Johanna): This week, Include others and yourself in conversations, events, in line at the grocery store ect.
