In this episode I got to chat with Financial Executive Tracey Gomes-Johnson. Tracey talks about how her career in Finance resulted in her transforming her personal finances to live a life of freedom and choice.

Tracey shares how she and her husband gave their children the gift of education by paying off their student loans. She has also strategically worked to eliminate debt and pay off her mortgage early. Tracey works with her staff to promote investing and saving for retirement. I consider Tracey a personal finance expert which is evident in the information and experience she shares with her own finances. Tracey is always willing to share what she knows to help others transform their relationship with money.

It is Financial Literacy Month and this conversation will help you get honest about where you are and create a plan to get where you want to be. We will keep you posted about any future coaching or business services that Tracey offers in the future.

Topics we discussed include:

-Getting honest about what you’re spending

-Tracking expenses to see where your money is going

-How to start a simple budget

-Financial awareness for women

-Talking to your children about money

-Eliminating debt and working with creditors

-Saving for retirement
