Just my opinion, so forgive me or hate me if you like, but I’ve been a longtime listener of the show, and lately it seems like the quality has dropped tremendously. You used to have very interesting guests, people in the industry with real insights and backstories about how they got in. Now the guests are pretty “Meh”. Again, this is just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt if you like.

It seems as if Galit has had almost every influential dancer and/or choreographer on her pod. And there’s a reason for that. She is highly personable and authentic. Every dancer — with or without professional aspirations — should be listening!

I’m a true fan! Galit is a great interviewer and her conversations with the guests are fascinating. Also, since I’m pretty new to LA, I find this podcast truly helpful. It talks a lot about the city and the entertainment industry.

So much great information on this show!! I love how comfortable the interviews feel, it makes for a very easy listen. The information in every episode is informative and motivational. This podcast has been my go-to during my journey of re-entering the dance world and industry, giving me both new tools and insights as well as the reminders I’ve heard before but NEED to hear again. It’s almost like having my own personal motivation coach along the ride, and I absolutely love it!!!

As a young performer growing up in the entertainment industry, hearing about all these different experiences and techniques that these performers have is so important to me. I admire all the stories told and subjects discussed - they’re all so enlightening and relevant. The interviews feel more like conversations between Galit and the guests and I love that. It feels inviting and real. Galit really listens to her guests, she’s an amazing host. This is definitely a must-listen for dancers!

Through lots of turns and twists Galit consistently shows up to bring light to a lot of the underrated topics of the dance industry. Galits ability to show up over and over again has created a sense of trust in many people she’s had come in. I love how diverse the platform is as well, ranging from top tier famous stage choreography to some of the worlds best freestylers. If you are a dancer or even just an artist this is a great one to tap in to.

I love hearing what makes a dancer/choreographer tick. Galit interviews the best of the best. I feel like I am there in her living room, getting to know everyone. It was actually because of this podcast I felt comfortable reaching out to a choreographer about mentorship. Now, we are friends and dance together. I am grateful that this podcast gives dancers the ability to get to know wonderful industry movers and shakers through intimate interviews!

Galit is such a wonderful host, there’s a genuine kindness in her voice that sets the vibe for each episode. Her love and excitement for dance are the foundation of this show. Galit intuitively leans into the most wonderful moments and leads her guests to sharing gems while inserting personal anecdotes to contextualize certain topics. DanceSpeak is a treasure trove of knowledge and will one day be recognized for it’s contribution to dance but more importantly for immortalizing each and every guest… this is the other side of dance preservation. Hearing the experiences and getting advice from professional dancers in a wide range of genres and industries, provides an excellent peek into what it truly means to be a dancer. This podcast can help prepare many young, up-and-comming dancers for their futures in the industry. It's a must listen. My favorite is the interview with Soul Train Legend Tyrone Proctor!

I recently came across this podcast, and am hooked! I’m usually not one for podcasts; I prefer to read, and to do so at a fast pace. However, these episodes feel like a very genuine conversation that you get to take part in. While moving is important to grow as a dancer/person, I think that listening and thinking about dance is equally important, and this podcast allows listeners to do just that. Additionally, I think that it’s easy to stay within the bubbles of your own dance communities, but the podcast is a great reminder that there is always more to explore and learn. Since the podcast is so genuine and comes from a very human place, I think that even for non-dancers there are tons of great ideas to digest and think about as well!

I absolutely love this podcast! It’s so informative and even inspirational. Whether you’re interested in dance history, business, or just general perspectives from Galit and other dancers you love and admire, this podcast breaks down the world of dance from all angles and in a relatable way.

I find this podcast to be just right amount of edgy, heart, information/content and passion. Whenever I listen to Galit I get really engaged in what she is talking about even if I am not familiar with the topic otherwise. Definitely worth listening to.

i’m glad i stumbled upon this podcast! i’m not used to having so much information about the industry on my fingertips, because it would take years to figure out all of this lol so i’m definitely grateful for this. even if you aren’t a dancer or if you know any, it’s good to know what we go through, and how we navigate this lifestyle; especially all of the sacrifices we make in the name of dance! it also speaks on a lot of issues that are prevalent in the industry that people are somewhat hesitant to talk about, so Galit makes sure that we get the info we need from credible sources and makes it clear to listen with open ears. i recommend this to anyone who loves dancing or anyone who cares to know what dancers and choreographers go through.
