Recently released on Netflix was a documentary called Behind the Curve, a surface-level study on Flat Earth believers. After watching it, well, let's just say that I had some thoughts. Should we be more accepting of people who espouse to this theory? How does Flat Earth Theory interact with other popular conspiracy theories out there? What is the solution to the problem of getting people to understand the basic tenets of science? Being the intellectual masochist I am, I then convinced a couple friends to also watch the documentary so we could record a conversation about it.
