Dagboek van de bevrijding van Eindhoven
De 36-jarige Piet Bouma woont tijdens de bevrijding met zijn vrouw Tine en hun twee dochtertjes Emmy en Irene aan het Franklinplein in Eindhoven. Bouma werkt als natuurkundig onderzoeker bij Philips, maar heeft multiple sclerose. Daardoor is hij aan huis gekluisterd. Met een groot opmerkzaam vermogen houdt hij een dagboek bij over de bevrijding van de stad tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog, en over de gevaren die nog steeds op de loer liggen….
