Fantastically Done!
This podcast was excellent! I didn’t know much of D-Day, and by the end I felt like I learned so much. My husband knows a lot about the war, and when I tell him things I learned he was excited that a podcast like this explains so much. Definitely wonderful to listen to!!

In depth
This pod goes so much deeper than any book I’ve ever read about D-Day

Thank you Noiser
The first podcast from Noiser I experienced was Titanic and this one is very close to if not as good as Titanic. The writing is so vivid that I feel as if I am watching the events unfolding. I loved learning about the strategic deception. I am looking forward to learning more and will continue listening

Sleepy
I use this podcast to help me go to sleep. I also use it so I wouldn’t have to find an informative podcast, I just show her how far in I’ve gone in the podcast and she’s convinced that I am just learning without her knowing.

Best D-Day podcast
A if you want to know the many stories behind the D-Day preparation and execution —you have found it here. This show is a compelling mix of fantastic storytelling with sound effects mixed with interviews of many women and men who were critical to its success. It is the audio version of a book you can’t put down.

Historical filth and garbage
I’ve heard better history from the bottom of my boot, going through chicken manure, then this worthless pile of garbage. 1: the tide was already turned by 1944 the Soviets outnumbered the Germans two to one on the eastern front outnumbered the German armor by about four times and had air superiority. 2: rips into all the war generals. Yes, some had their mistakes, but they weren’t serial killers. They did everything short of putting a Hitler mustache on Patton. and they portrayed Montgomery as a egotistical jerk, who didn’t care about the lives of his soldiers. 3:Get a new voice actor!! if this guy didn’t have a nice sounding voice I would’ve written this thing a one star review every time he speaks about history he sounds like he’s depressed. 4:They never try to crack a joke if one of the people they’re interviewing crakes a joke They awkwardly transition back to the Voice actor I would much rather the historians Speak the majority of the time and the voice actor was just a narrator. 5:so in all this is Not a good podcast and this is what I have to say about just the first two episodes.

I am RIVETED
Think you know everything about D Day? Ya don’t! The historical details are astonishing , delivered by a perfect narrator alongside first person recollections of each element of the Normandy invasion. Amd there are sooooo many elements. Listen to this and it’s like you are living it as it happens. The movie forms in your mind as the events unfurl.

Excellent podcast that provides a really good narrative of DDay
I love this podcast, the story telling really brings the story to life. Also what a great way to honor the brave people who planed, supported, and stormed the beaches.

Get it right
It is not oh-six-thirty it is zero-six-thirty Just this tiny thing at the very beginning of the episode takes me completely out of the story.

Episode 8
Outstanding. Well produced. To hear the story of a man who was there, on the beach in France at 20 yrs old. We owe these men more than we will ever know. It was good to hear the story from the point of view of a son. My grandfather too was there at D-Day albeit aboard a ship at that time. My grandfather was in an LCVP crew from the LST 310. He participated in the invasion of Sicily and at Salerno prior to D-Day. He along with 5 of his brothers served during the war. Hearing this story of Mr McGann reminded me of the stories my grandfather told. Thank you for show overall and especially episode 8. Best,

Excellence in podcasting
Even WW2 history buffs will probably learn something new from this series. The research and writing is top notch. Paul McCann's narration is delivered with the seriousness and pace this subject deserves. He’s one of the best presenters in his field.

Five stars
Absolutely fantastic podcast. I’m so glad I stumbled across it and can’t wait for each episode every week. Well researched, and told with passion. It listens like a story being told and less like a history lesson

Outstanding in every way
If you love the great BBC series, The World at War, narrated by Olivier, this will send chills up your spine. Extremely well written, they chose a great narrator in the style of Olivier. The production and sound design supports the story, it doesn’t show off or stand out. Interesting stories. Well-crafted. Superb. I hope this creative and production team continues through other phases of WWII—or any war or conflict.

Outstanding Job of Telling History!
Thank you for highlighting the incredibly brave and heroic men who took part in the D-Day invasion. These men are the reason I fly our American flag in the front of our home. These men and their courage to take down evil are the reason I am proud to be an American. And all the countless other men and women who have faithfully served in our military to protect and defend our freedom and keep many evil regimes at bay over centuries. Of course American isn’t perfect, but we are the best nation on earth, in large part due to these brave souls. Thank you to all our current military members serving us today! 🇺🇸

This podcast ruins everything
Because once you’ve listened to it, everything else just sounds subpar. I’m so sorry that I stumbled upon it. No. Seriously one of the best there is. Very grateful to everyone who worked on this. Masterful story telling.

By far one of the best story tellers I’ve heard. Draws you in to where you can almost picture being right there in the thick of it.
