I have been GMing Cypher System for 3 years, but learned several new ways about how to think about Intrusions. Now I just want to go run something and try these ideas out! Agh!

Darcy and Troy know a ton about the Cypher System and this podcast is a great opportunity to mine their knowledge and get a ton of new ideas for your games. Each episode is a deep dive and full of tons of great information.

Troy and Darcy are great ambassadors for the Cypher System. They are extremely knowledgeable of all the settings and are a pleasure to listen to. I especially love the chemistry they have with each other and they always make me feel like I’m in the room with them. This show is all things Cypher! Darcy & Troy focus in on one thing about the Cypher System and dive deep into all the cool ways you can use it at your table. They’re both really skilled at the system and their proficiency shows. I love listening to this show because it feels like you’re sitting down for a casual conversation with friends... and then BOOM all of a sudden you get a wave of insight & knowledge. If you’re interested in Cypher, this is required listening.

I love this podcast, the only problem is the episodes aren’t frequent enough! I recently discovered the Numenera and the the Cypher System and fell in love with it, naturally I went looking for additional media about it and found this insightful podcast.

For a tabletop enthusiast or a person interested in fictional settings this a super relaxing and fun cast. The hosts are incredibly intelligent and enthusiastic and are always so considerate of each other in a way that makes the podcast a thought provoking comfort.

Darcy and Troy cover all things Cypher and they haven't missed a beat, the game systems and supplements along with their own contributions make plenty full episodes and their enjoyment of the games comes across through their voices.

I have discovered Cypher Speak in the past two weeks devoured it; and I seriously can't get enough. Whether you're a newbie to the Cypher System (in which case, start with the brief "Rules Primer" episode), or Cypher-curious (in which case, check out the "Comparative Studies" episode") or a seasoned GM looking for some great tips to improve your game (in which case, check out the episode on creative uses of XP and others), this podcast has something for you and the warmth and wisdom of Darcy and Troy is very inviting. I think I will likely end up listening to all these episodes at least twice and I never do that. Great podcast!

I haven't played role playing games in about a year. I caught you two speaking on Gaming & BS. You truly intrigued me about the cypher system. I have ordered the system and look forward to playing this system. I hope to run a game and really look forward to using the advice, found in your podcast. ❤️❤️❤️

This is a great resource for cypher system ideas, and Darcy and Troy are extremely engaging hosts.

First off, the music is awesome. I feel like I'm entering the world of a Ken Burns documentary about all things Cypher every time I start one of the episodes. That out of the way, the hosts are super enthusiastic about the system and all the cool bits and bobs it has to offer. They also have the knowledge to back it up. If you're looking for an entertaining explanation of what the Cypher system is all about, and some cool resources to use in your own game, you can't do much better than this podcast.

I've listened to a few Cypher System related podcasts, and I think this one is the most entertaining. I'm hoping scheduling will work out so that the show will be able to go on, because I really like the way the hosts present information, their enthusiasm for the system, and their enthusiasm for gaming in general.

This enjoyable podcast thoughtfully explores interesting elements of the Cypher System, and the hosts convey their excitement and enthusiasm in a variety of ways. Many things they discuss are relevant beyond their chosen system, making this a good listen for a variety of gamers.

My experience with the Cypher system is limited, but the insight, passion, and intelligence of Darcy and Troy have me raring to dig back into the system and keep listening to their show as they dig deeper into what makes this corner of gaming so great!

Cypher Speak is a wonderful look at the Cypher System and its related games (Numenera, The Strange, and others) from Monte Cook Games. There's a wealth of material for Troy and Darcy to cover, but they pick small knots of interest each episode and unravel them for the audience. One episode covers fascinating uses of cyphers across the various games while another focuses on a Sherlock Holmes-based setting for The Strange. The way the two hosts have an easy-going conversation about their topic makes it easier to follow even for those new to the Cypher System. Darcy and Troy are great advocates for new and veteran Cypher System GMs and players!

I'm already so hooked. Great podcast and fun hosts.

This is such a great podcast. It's to the point (but not in a bad way) and it's informative (and not in a the-whole-kitchen-sink way). Plus, the hosts are fun and knowledgeable. Now, admittedly, I have a bias because Darcy is a friend but since she's also a rockstar, she has the experience to guide you. If you're already deep in the Cypher System, trust me, you're still going to learn cool things...and if you're new to it, the hosts are going to introduce you and you're going to be wanting more.

Even though it is early on I really like the concept and set up of this podcast that talks about the Cypher System rules from Monte Cooke Games. I look forward to more episodes and enjoy both the hosts.
