Love and Happiness
For me, love and happiness truly sum it up! The Cut Curator Podcast took me on a nostalgic journey, bringing back fond memories and reigniting my love for songs I’d forgotten about. Rob G, The General, poured his heart and soul into this masterpiece, and it shows in every episode. His love for music, hip-hop in particular, shines through in the way he curated these interviews. Along the way, I discovered so many interesting facts, made unexpected connections, and laughed at the funny stories that bring the music and its history to life. Please, keep taking us down memory lane with more episodes. You’ve earned a fan for life and mad respect to go with it.

This podcast is amazing! The inside stories from many of hip hops under the radar icons have been great to hear. Love the Grand Puba , Daddy-O, and Mannie Fresh interviews! The flow of the show is really good. Great podcast for a hip hop history lesson that connects then & now.

Love the podcast
I love this podcast, because u get here back stories of songs, events and shows. But the thing I do live to hear is that they real people, and they challenges, but they punch through issues. Keep up the good work.

Straight Bananas !!
I ran across this podcast today. TODAY !! Ran through 4 episodes !! The show is so dope. It’s takes over where the late Combat Jack left off & showing you can actually interview Hip Hop vets with some sense. Bring intelligence to the game.

Fell in love with hip hop in 1983
I’ve told several people about this podcast, and the best way I can describe it is, it’s a better version of Drink Champs. Rob G has all of the old school hip hop and r&b guests, but he actually has knowledge of the history of hip hop. He does research on his subjects before his interviews, and thoroughly covers all of the info that you want to hear. A must subscribe/@ listen for anyone that loves old school hip hop.

This podcast is absolutley AMAZING !! Rob G. has a way of getting Hip Hop legends to open up about the background stories behind the song lyrics. This podcast is PERFECT for Hip Hop heads that grew up during that era as well as for the younger millenials to learn about classic Hip Hop artist. Love this podcast!
Admittedly I subscribed because Rob G. Is my little brother from THE HU, Hampton University. I must say however that this non hip hop enthusiast LOVES this podcast. The quality is excellent, the conversations are engaging and interesting and I’m discovering I know a lil more old school hip hop than I remember. Awesome job Rob!! Proud of you!

Rob G. — I’m so proud of you! I didn’t know what to expect, but I find myself happily suspended in time when I listen to your podcasts. I’ve listened to four, so far, and they take me back to my youth: time spent with good friends, at parties, in college, coming of age, and listening to jams by people I only dreamed of meeting! Your podcast makes me feel as if I’m having a really intimate conversation with the artist! Keep doing what you’re doing! Bridget

Not many shows like this one...
I have to say. I just stumbled across this podcast not really knowing how good it would be. Especially since I consider myself somewhat of a hip hop historian that knows everything. The first one I listened to was the kwame episode and couldn’t stop from there. It’s basically everything that combat jack was at his strongest point, complete with snippets of the songs that they’re talking about during the interview! A+ material!

5 Stars For The General
Rob G has cornered the market on authentic storytelling in hip hop, causing the genius in the minds of his guests to be unpacked for the listener. The little known facts he uncovers show that he is a true student of hip hop, and his knowledge even surprises his guests. This is a fun, refreshing take on hip hop podcasts.

Great show, Rob G.
As a child of the 80’s, I love the interviews with told school hip hop and R&B artists. I also love that Rob lets the artist just talk and tell their stories instead of asking a bunch of questions. Makes the content more interesting. Scarface calling his kids was the best! Keep up the good work!
