Welcome to “Many People Are Saying,” our once a week paid-subscriber article where we feature rumors we’re hearing, inside gossip in the political world, and projects and pieces we’re working on that we haven’t published yet. This week:* We have audio of the 911 call from the Abraham George incident as well as court documents alleging violence.* A Secretary of State complaint is filed involving the Collin County GOP Chair Race?* More sewage is leaking out of Plano…911 Call Audio Regarding the Incident with Abraham GeorgeWe previously published a 911 report regarding Abraham George, candidate for Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas.Open records requests have returned full audio of the 911 call. We’ve modified the voice as well as censored out the private information of the caller. You can listen to the full audio here:In the audio above, the caller alleges that Abraham George has a loaded gun while shouting and screaming can be heard in the background.Additionally, court records from 2022 allege that Abraham George had an outburst in a church causing church property to be damaged. The court records also contain a letter from the church documenting the incident with the church alleging that George was shouting “obscenities” and was “violent”:A full copy of the court records can be read here:George is scheduled speak at the Coppell Republican Club on April 15th.Someone in Collin County is Filing a Complaint in the County GOP Race?More Collin County drama…We received this message claiming that the Secretary of State is being contacted about a complaint with the Collin County GOP Chair race. The letter alleges that Shelby Williams, candidate for the County Chair position, cannot take the “Oath of Affirmation” due to Williams offering his opponent a Vice Chair position if she were to withdraw from the runoff race. There is no further information, but we’ll be reaching out to all parties involved for comment.Plano City Council Has Complaints Filed Against MembersInfinite Collin County drama…We’re working on a story involving potential corruption within the Plano City Council. We’re still gathering documents, but it’s possible that city officials are asking others to resign for looking a little too closely at certain approved projects. It also looks like the city is meeting tomorrow to discuss a complaint against some of its members. That’s it for this week. Next week should be interesting. We’ll see you out there. This is a public episode. Controversy continues to surround Brent Hagenbuch’s run for Senate District (SD) 30. The latest scandal comes with a litany of lawsuits stemming from allegations that Hagenbuch was untruthful when he claimed his primary residence to be a commercial office building in his filing paperwork. Critics allege Hagenbuch actually lives outside of SD 30 and is therefore ineligible to be a Senator for that district under the Texas Constitution. We paid Hagenbuch a visit in the video above. He wasn’t home (at the office), but his staff was so we asked some questions. All of the GOP challengers to Hagenbuch in the SD30 race, including Carrie De Moore, Cody Clark, and Jace Yarbrough, have filed complaints or lawsuits challenging Hagenbuch’s residency requirements. As you can see in the documents below, when he ran for Denton County GOP chair, he lived in Little Elm:When he decided to run for SD30, he updated his residency to a completely different address that qualifies him to be in the district. It also happens to be the same address for his company, Titus Transportation:The law requires residency for at least 1 year to be a Senator for a particular district, and Brent Hagenbuch only got around to changing his address a few weeks ago.Is it weird for a married family man to be living in his office while the rest of his family is back in a real house? If he wins, does Brent Hagenbuch plan on living in his office for the entirety of his term?Share this post with someone who doesn’t live in their office. We’ll continue to do investigative work the mainstream media won’t. We’ve obtained the copies of both the police footage as well as police reports involving Representative Jeff Leach. Our edit is above as the video footage is incredibly long. We will upload a link to the full video later. Representative Leach provided us the following statement:As I knew would be the case, I am grateful that the video footage has resolved this matter, clearly evidencing my intent and attempt to act as a Good Samaritan and proving, once again, my utmost respect for our law enforcement officers and first responders. I appreciate their understanding of this situation as minor. And I am ready to put it behind us and to continue to focus and work on the real issues that matter most to my constituents and to all Texans. - Representative Jeff LeachPolice reports from the incident:We asked Rep. Leach about the gift cards. He stated that he planned on purchasing the officers coffee for the meeting but since he arrived after them, and they had already bought their coffee, he just got them two $5 gift cards. This is hardly what some are calling a bribe. Thus ends the great traffic scandal. Not something worth breaking popcorn out for, and definitely not what some teased as being some sort of huge career-ending incident for Rep. Leach.Share this with a Texas patriot.Current Revolt is a reader-supported publication. To support our work, subscribe below. This is a public episode.
