It’s time for change

In this episode you will hear more about how to package your personal management project. You will also hear an example presentation. Keep in mind that we used filler word removal on the presentation after recording. 

Use this to guide you through the Storyboard if you missed it in class

You are being challenged to use the management functions of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling to create management solutions to challenges in your own personal life, home, workplace, for the class, or a "client" and to present these solutions to the whole class in synchronous or asynchronous ways. You will need to package your solution into a 4-6 minute presentation to the class and showcase it as part of your ePortfolio. If you prefer to make a video or a podcast episode, this is considered asynchronous. We will still feature your presentation on your assigned day. In this episode I guide you through the divergent thinking phase of this DIY Creative Problem Solving Guide, a product I developed at the end of my first class in graduate school. Note to Day Shift: Your proposal due date is still 11/4 and your presentation dates are 11/30-12/9 This was recorded live during my Night Shift. I don't know that I normally breathe that loud but I should have moved the mic away from my mouth some more.

Unscripted. Highly Divergent. I'm considering it exposure therapy. This podcast is for my students. Its a reflective journal of the many more things I want to say to them, but don't always find the time. Its also an example. I hope some of them may choose to create a podcast as a way to synthesize their learning and to think about their thinking. P.S. Today is our first author interview of the semester!!
