They have good information but I feel like the first half I’m just listening to them promote and do advertisements. It takes awhile to actually get into what the podcast is about

One of the best casts about screenwriting available. — my only know is the sound quality of the Wine episodes.

It's not a bad podcast and it's quite informative/helpful but it could easily be boiled down to half. I feel there's a lot of fluff we could do without. I just want the presenters to get to the point so I can actually get to the end of the podcast and feel I got something out of it.

Get out your Thesaurus. Look up synonyms for "arrogant" and "ignorant." Now look up "poser" and "fake" and "waste of time." The host, Jeff York, is a quintessential cranky critic, throwing out keywords without understanding their meanings. His ignorance of the process of movie-making as well as his lack of knowledge about storytelling itself make for a hugely unworthy use of the listener's time. He could do with some lessons in the pronunciation of actors' names, too. The overall effect is unintentionally comical. If you enjoy stupid shows that can easily be turned into drinking games, please, spend your precious time with him. As for me--this smelly wad makes me nostalgic for radio static. Pass.

I’m really enjoying the education in the Curious About Screenwriting Network’s shows. I found them by searching for screenwriting and just love the variety and opportunity to listen to people who have the experience I don’t. Thanks!

This is what I imagine film school to be. But I don't agree with any statements about writer's not having any business writing stories that they enjoy. You can write one of those stories with your perspective/ ability and the product will be familiar and new.
