Read more about Sito Narcisse: Dr. Sito Narcisse serves as the Superintendent of Schools of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System. Dr. Narcisse most recently worked as the Chief of Secondary Schools of the District of Columbia Public Schools. He understands the challenge of being a young student trying to learn English and living between two cultures, all the while adapting to the American public education system. The son of Haitian immigrants, Dr. Narcisse moved with his family to Long Island, New York, in the pursuit of a better life for him and his siblings. As an English language learner, Dr. Narcisse learned to navigate both the social and academic obstacles that confront millions of students today. His success as a student led him to enroll at Kennesaw State University in Georgia. Seeing his second language as a strength, Dr. Narcisse graduated with a degree in French and pursued a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University in secondary education. Doctoral studies led him to the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a doctorate in educational administration and policy studies and leadership. Serving as both a teacher and a principal, Dr. Narcisse opened a high school in the Pittsburgh Public Schools and led turnaround efforts in a Boston public high school. He returned to EMU where he earned a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching and a Specialist in Education in Educational Leadership and Administration. His extensive community involvement includes serving on the With One Voice and Kevin’s Song Advisory Boards on Suicide Prevention. He received the Spirit of the Community Award from the West Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce and is active in the National Alliance of Black School Educators. Mantel has dedicated much of his life to mobilizing churches to bring water to the world’s thirsty while sharing the love of Jesus Christ. As the president and CEO of Living Water International, a faith-based global humanitarian organization, Mike is a firm believer in the miracle of safe water, and in the biblical vision of the unity of the Body of Christ.  Since 2008, Mike has led Living Water International through years of unprecedented growth by helping church communities around the world become more effective agents of gospel-driven change. Thirsting  for Living Water is a response to the desire of many American churches to help their people find adventure and purpose in God’s redemption story. Mike’s 30 years of experience working with churches  in the US and around the world offers a unique perspective on the global Church, as does his passion for helping church communities come alive through world-changing action.  After earning a business degree from Calvin College in 1983 and a decade in business, Mike witnessed firsthand the impact of water when he visited impoverished rural communities in Senegal,  West Africa, where his then-employer was sponsoring the drilling of wells. It was during this trip where Mike felt a divine invitation to help thirsty people access clean water—a catalyst for physical and spiritual change.   Prior to joining Living Water International, Mike led various teams at World Vision, earned a PhD in Organizational Development from Benedictine University, enjoyed many years in business,  and received the Distinguished Alumni Award from his alma mater Calvin College.   Recently honored by the Houston Business Journal as a  Most Admired CEO, Mike has authored, contributed to, or been featured in, articles in the Houston Business Journal, Houston Chronicle, USA Today, Chicago Tribune, Christianity Today, as well as other publications and a  number of books.  Mike serves as an elder at Grace Presbyterian Church. An ordained deacon with the Catholic Church, Dr. Tulipana is finely tuned to both the physical and spiritual needs of his patients. Dr. Tulipana earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. He completed his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery. From 2000 to 2003, he was a resident in Family Medicine at Mercy/Mayo Family Medical Center, serving as chief resident from 2002 to 2003. From 2003 to 2010, Dr. Tulipana provided traditional family medical care at a large regional medical center in Missouri. He then served as Hospitalist at a large health-care facility in Oklahoma. During his career, Dr. Tulipana has also held several administrative positions focused on quality improvement, operations, payer relations, innovation, and other aspects of patient care. He joined CTCA®in January 2015. Dr. Tulipana is Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine and on the adjunct faculty at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. In 2018, he earned a Master of Science degree in Bioethics from the University of Mary in Bismark, North Dakota.
