Really really good show
Franchise fortnights are a go to for me whether I’m working driving sleeping or whatever. Always funny and who doesn’t like talking about movies and guessing rotten t scores.

Umm… like it’s really good 👉👈
I think maybe they should do the re-ranking episode though - I’m so curious 😩!

A Wonderful Duo of Schmucks!
They may be heathens, the may even be cretins, but let me just say that they are 100% schmucks! I’m a proud member of their Patreon and they never fail to warm my heart to a metaphorical boil. Plus, the gimmick is fun too!

Stop what you’re doing and listen to this now (unless you’re already listening, then keep on)
The podcast has done more for my life than my own father. Ever since I discovered this pod, I’ve been tracking my vital statistics. My blood pressure is lower, I’ve grown three inches taller, and my wife has increased her rating of our bimonthly mating rituals from 3.6 to 3.62. She says she’s considering leaving me a tip from now on. If you’re remotely interested in such tentpole franchises as Air Bud, Beethoven, and Daddy’s Home, then this is requisite listening. Not only will you find mounds of content because you’ve been sleeping on this for years, you will get new content every week, further cementing your listening routine as you wile away the hours at the job you’re considering leaving. So, for the sake of your father, your wife, and your tentpole, subscribe today.

If you think about movies, let these blokes think about them with you.
I came across a reddit post talking about two NZ guys watching every Barbie movie. 18 hours later I’m in love and a dedicated listener. Thank you for suffering for us guys!

A fun movie podcast
I never thought a pair of NZ boys would remind me so much of a few of my American college buddies. They're geeks, they're funny, & they know what they're talking about with film. That said, if I had to note a detractor it's that they are occasionally a little tone deaf on how raunchy they probably should go versus how raunchy the do go. (Started the Land Before Time episode VERY sexual & quickly transitioned to Ducky's VA getting murdered) I don't mind it, like I said it reminds me of old friends, but it certainly won't be for everyone. If a little bit of panicky "yes&ing", some solid podcast statistics, film analysis, & those floaty NZ accents are up your alley, this is a podcast for you.

Very entertaining!
Great movies and TV podcast from two New Zealanders whose passion for film is evident.

A treat...both of us.
A podcast is only as good as it’s fans. And I’m pretty great ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Horror fans subscribe!
As a fan of horror franchises, this show has many awesome episodes! Check out the Final Destination interviews, very cool.

Actually fan-freakin'-tastic
Niffty take on a movie podcast. The balance of goofs and analysis is just right. Fantastic personalities.

They seem nice.
Finally a podcast that is more deeply engaged with a movie's IMDB trivia page than with the actual film. "I dunno, I liked it, I guess. I don't really remember it, to be honest," is the kind of critical analysis you're in for here. Seem like really nice guys though.

Never Listened to a Better Podcast (Resubmission)
This podcast makes my Sunday every single week. Whether it’s their flagship Film Franchise Fortnights, or their more varied off-week content, these Kiwis never fail to make me laugh, and often offer insight into movies that either I hadn’t considered, or thought I was alone in considering. And even when I disagree with their views on a movie or series, I still enjoy every second of every episode. If you’re on the fence about starting a new podcast, and you in any way enjoy films, I wholeheartedly recommend these folks. (If you’re looking for a good starting point, I started with the Air Bud episodes, but I listened chronologically from the very first episode following that.) If you’re really into it, also consider joining the cult and contributing to their Patreon, for all the bonus content you’ll get for doing so. P.S. For Richard and A.J. — Keep up the good work guys, can’t wait until you watch Wind River in 2023. P.P.S. — I somehow deleted my previous review (at least on my end) while trying to edit it, so this is a resubmission.

It’s real good
I only recently discovered this pod but I’ve binged so much of it by now, it’s too good to stop listening to! The detailed analyzation of films and franchises with really interesting commentary is so fantastic. It’s super interesting to hear a film review that focuses on the filmmaking and production, using film-y terms and looking at themes and arcs, it makes the podcast way more intriguing and interesting, and it’s why I keep coming back!

Fun and in depth
I really enjoy the humorous and in depth discussions of the different movie franchises, cinematic universes, and how to fix the Oscars. The last being very handy as my Oscar was knocked off the mantle by my rowdy cats, Richard and AJ, and super glue wasn’t gonna cut it.

Thorough and interesting
Really enjoyed the podcast, interesting questions and illuminating answers!

This is Good As
Are you looking for great insight to films/movies/and the process that goes into them? Well, this podcast is alright. Two or three blokes get into the finer things of the industry and keep the laughs coming. You'll either leave with more knowledge than you expected to come away with, or a deeper understanding for what noises Alex can make when he's proven right about an argument they had for five minutes. And don't mind the length! Just pop on the podcast on your way to work and have a couple of Kiwis talk shop for the next week or so. Do you like hour long rants about how Mama Mia II should never have been made and is ultimately a complete disgrace to musicals everywhere? Great! Tune in to hear that and stuff like that! Keep up the good work boys and know that your stuff sounds good out of an American radio.
