This show is different than most with an open mind to these topics and tolerance for views other than their own. Very educational in animal knowledge with stories about more than Bigfoot and the other big names in cryptozoology. I’m in the process of listening backwards to the beginning and I’m enjoying every minute.

I really enjoy this podcast, probably my current favorite cryptid/paranormal podcast. I would encourage the hosts to do go into the creationist viewpoint because I do believe that is what is true compared to what society puts out these days as science and millions of years. Digging into some prophecy from scripture might help them as well particularly the Book of Daniel.

I first heard of Cryptids Of The Corn when they were guests on another podcast I listen to. So, loving anything Cryptid related and how they presented themselves on the other show, I had to check them out. I was not disappointed!! Justin and Jay bring fresh new perspectives on all things cryptid, paranormal and beyond. They’re entertaining, interesting, insightful and funny. Plenty of interesting guests and collaborations with other podcast hosts to make a great show even better. Now I have to bounce around to other shows from time to time, but that is because I don’t want to blow through their entire podcast series and have to wait for a new episode. Keep up the great content guys!!!

Your podcast is one of the very few I feverishly anticipate listening to every week! I absolutely love that I learn a lot AND burst into laughter during each episode. Jay, your rants speak for a lot of us. Keep it up! Mr. E, your sighing and (assumed) eye rolling also speak for a lot of us. Praying God blesses you and all of your loved ones. Hands down, my favorite show about cryptids. Found them earlier this year & have now listened to every public episode. Got to meet them at a Bigfoot event in Arkansas & was blown away by how genuine & kind these guys were. I love how they research more than just Bigfoot. With their critical, yet open-minded approach, they consider all possibilities from the paranormal to Lazarus taxon to misidentified wildlife. They are big on conservation and are unapologetic about it. They are admittedly Christian but don’t call everything paranormal a Nephilim or a demon (ifykyn). They are also intensely curious and accepting of other cultures & belief systems. They strive to stay kid friendly while not watering down their content. If I was still teaching, there are many episodes I would definitely use in my lesson plans & classroom activities. Does the audio quality vary? Yes. Is it just a couple of guys having a conversation? Yes. Do they go off on random tangents? Yes. Do words get mispronounced? Yes. Has the show (& the hosts) evolved since they started in 2021? Yes. If those things drive you crazy, this isn’t the show for you. But if you are looking for a couple of genuine, family-oriented, good ol’ boys from the Midwest discussing our beautiful weird world, you’ve come to the right place.

The show has gotten weird, odd, sloppy. Suggestion: reduce the frequency of your podcast and improve the quality. Jay is all over the place, and tries to be funny too often. Sometimes the pair don’t seem to be having a conversation - almost as if the show is constructed from 2 independent asynchronous monologues. In the past, Jay was sort of the proxy for the listener… he would ask questions I might ask, play the role of skeptic, help connect insights. It’s also getting tiresome, embarrassing how Jay is constantly cynical about prevailing science… most recently in the pod pertaining to unanswered questions in physics. Choose your battles. To constantly challenge everything - without basis or evidence - is not the “scientific method” and damages the credibility of the show.

I actually like the show but…. I listened to one episode about Plasmoids and felt the topic was pretty well covered. Then they added another. Ok, i’ll skip it. Then another, and another, and…. Now theres been about 8 episodes in a row about plasmoids i’ve skipped. There’s nothing left of this horse to beat i hope!

As an Auditor (yes that right) I wish I could give this show a 10 star review! I love listening to this show as I do review federal and state tax files and make sure that the payer is compliance with regulations and requirements with several alphabet organizations. This show brings me joy and lightens the mood of daily job. I would often be asked what was so funny as I forget that I have an earbud in and laugh out loud randomly. My job is exhausting and mentally draining and this show is my ray of sunshine in all the gloom of tax laws and number crunching. Some days I wish I could like Colin Robinson (what we do in the shadows reference) because my job is mentally exhausting and it would be a cubical cornucopia of a misery buffet for Colin Robinson! 🤣 Yes Jay tax collectors do listen to your show! 💯

Always been a fan of Bigfoot related content growing up. Finding this show a few months ago was great! As I get older learning about the wide world of other cryptids is very interesting. Especially from two guys with such great chemistry as friends, you two make me lean towards a believer in some! Keep up the great work, I am slowly working my way through the back catalog!!!

I recently found Cryptids of the Corn and I’m already binging my way through the episodes. These guys are funny, smart, and genuinely great storytellers. I’m hoping to start attending more conferences and conventions around the MW — especially theirs next year. Grateful for the work these guys do… it’s quickly become a highlight of my day!

I like listening to it while doing homework.

The first ever episode that I listened to was the one about the haunted asylums in Australia. There is a gore warning, and it is needed for that episode. There are graphic details included in that episode that did in fact make me feel uneasy. BUT, I loved the history and true crime feel. Right now, this is the podcast that I am binging. There’s something about these guys that remind me of myself. I like that. Their responses are pretty much exactly how I would respond to certain details. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone looking for a good listen! 10/10

You guys started out a little rough, as any new crew would but now you’re both on point. Jay you’re awesome and so glad you’re so confident now compared to early episodes. You and Justin are equally great co-hosts, Justin you bring a great professional dynamic with your biologist background. Keep it up guys. I look forward to each episode.

Absolutely amazing show. Love listening on long shifts and road trips. Have you guys ever thought about prehistoric animals and their cryptid relatives. My theory is that the North American borophaginae evolved into our modern depictions of dog man. Since they have a bigger muzzle like a hyena and a lot of dog man sittings have hyena like heads. I just discovered Ur podcast this week…Gotta say I absolutely love it…I been trying to find a new Paranormal/Mystery Podcast to binge & U guys hit the mark…Loved all the Mothman Episodes & I’m so glad U didn’t condense them…wealth of info I’d never heard. Great job team…Also wanna add, it’s nice to have a quality Podcast that doesn’t feel the need for cussing.

I first saw you guys while watching Free The Rabbits "Trolls of the Ancient World" It was a good episode and I rewatched it to many times to count. Then you guys were back on Free The Rabbits for "Why Do Aliens Look So Much Like Us." Again, another good episode that I rewatched quite a bit. Finally, I decided to check you guys out. I've went back and listened to every episode & your documentaries. I've listened to a lot of episodes multiple times including the season finales. I usually put on a long episode when I'm going to sleep. Your content is so good, I can listen again and again. My 2 favorite episodes are the one on Megalania & Cryptoboteny: When Plants attack from S2... Awesome stuff guys, keep it up!!

Love this podcast. Found them through Tony at the confessionals podcast. I have found Mr E and the J clones to be very entertaining and informative. Have learned so many things from the show. From crypids to everyday animals. I love the biology aspect of the show. Keep up the great work guys!

I love listening to these guys. I love their set up where Mr. E reads then stops and ask Jay what he thinks so far or any questions. It’s like you’re hanging out with these and having a conversation. And I should know I have sat with these guys and had a conversation. Very knowledgeable.

These guys are really cool & cover all sorts of subjects in the universal realm of crytpid lore.

Listened to the dark watchers episode and almost became physically nauseated at the mispronunciations. It’s Bug Sur not Spur and Santa Loo-seee-uh not Santa Luka. Please do the work to pronounce words correctly.

The show is okay. But it reminds me of a community college radio show. Local and amateurish. You guys have the potential to make a good, if not maybe great show. But you two are never on the same page. Mr E always talks over J Clone and in the moment during recording tells him why to do, IE “That’s good, save that for the end, I haven’t gotten to that yet!” This sort of gaffe happens repeatedly each episode and it’s really distracting. I almost didn’t write a review because you guys enjoy reading reviews just to make fun of the fanbase, the reviewers and anyone who decides they have an opinion that isn’t what you approve of. But I think that’s bullying and you guys need to listen occasionally and quit with the ego trip. [Updated ] 4/9/25 from 2/5 You guys have gotten it together and are both gelling on the same page. This show has everything I look for in a podcast: good hosts who have good rapport, spooky content, frequent uploads, and plenty of tangents. Season finales are always an extra special treat. You guys are great. Keep up the good work.

Sounded like a great podcast reading all the different episode subjects.. sound quality ranges from subpar to decent.. feel like he says “sorry” too many times an episode and at awkward times.. last episode I could take it sounded like everyone sitting in a room on opposite sides and a central mic.. more annoying than interesting.. I tried..

Jay and Justin combine all the right pieces to make the show flow. The show has a standard flow and it works for every episode. They are great dudes and if you ever get to meet them they invite you in with open arms. I got to meet them at cryptidcon. My wife and I are big fans. Keep up the good work.

As a college student studying environmental science and microbiology I love the way these guys connect the supernatural with science. I’ve always love crypts and it’s cool to add new ones to my internal library. Keep up the good work!
