I become a crybaby when I think about how much I miss this podcast.

Not great
Sometimes the guests have the noteworthy status and wit to cut through the bs and entertain you in spite of the (lack of) structure here. Sometimes not. That’s the problem when your hosts are self-obsessed and trying too hard to show they don’t care. We don’t either. Worse are the live episodes where they don’t even mic the audience so it sounds like every joke bombs. Why would self-obsessed people not worry about the audience? You figure it out. So in summation if you’re going to enter the podcasting foray, care a little.

Horribly disappointed
I was a long time fan of this podcast, and I am a podcast or myself I can’t imagine how this decision was made! Terrible terrible decision to move the podcast over to a pay to hear service. Wow. What a shame.

I wish for the CHANCE to adore this podcast.
I truly WISH I had a chance to ADORE this podcast as so many others reportedly do. This makes me sad, that the amazing podcast about being sad, won’t let me listen to it bc I don't have Stitcher Premium :(.. Very disappointed. How is it logical? Not nice. New listeners need to listen in order to want to listen more! Seems like a podcast that I -and I’m sure many others- could really connect with, but we can’t bc we can’t listen to it! Lol

So Good
This show is incredibly satisfying. In the words of Dolly Parton in Steel Magnolias, laughter through tears is my favorite emotion. Almost all of the cry cues are followed up with a giggle or some other sort of warmth and it makes me feel good.

Let your guests talk!
The hosts interrupt their guests too often, and are not gracious enough to let them talk at length.

Susan Orlean ≠ Suze Orman
Just a little PSA that if, like me, you confused the names and thought personal finance guru Suze Orman had reinvented herself as a hilarious podcast host, sadly that is not the case. It took about 5 episodes before it dawned on me, but still somehow can't totally shake the visual of Suze Orman and Sarah Thyre cracking me up with with emotionally intelligent witty banter.

Love These Girls!
I'm shocked at how much I adore this podcast.

New best friends
A podcast about crying? And it's funny? And you'll sound infinitely more cultured at your next dinner party thanks to all of your new art, music, and literature references? YES! YES! YES! Don't worry, you needn't be a hilarious biploar gay man like me to fall for Sarah and Susan...but it doesn't hurt.

Good podcast terrible theme music
Fun smart show. You would think it was a 70s sitcom about the 50s, based on the theme music though.

Laughing and crying!
I love the premise of this podcast and have already recommended it to so many friends. I love a good cry and the conversations are so natural and fun. I always take recommendations from the show and often find myself both laughing and crying. Thank you Sarah and Susan!

Great listen
I'm a big fan and listen to every new episode. My only criticism is that the guests seem too similar in a way. They are either friends or are so similar to the hosts that they might as well be siblings. Invite some young people. Invite some really old people. It will diversify the crying cues. There is something wrong when the hosts pretty much know 90% of all the cues already before they even saw the list from the guest. I think that would make for an even better show if they brought more varied guests of different walks of life and ages. Let's get out of our comfort zone you darn crybabies.

Makes you consider your own tears ...
This is a funny, sweet, thought provoking podcast. Why do I always get teary eyed every time I see a dog earnestly swimming, his/her head just above the water? Or whenever I see anything (commercial, movie, TV show - real life) where a teacher or adult recognizes the talents of a shy self doubting child and offers encouragement. What a surprise that Melanie Lynskey was also brought to tears by the young Sawyer Fredericks on The Voice ... these are the tears that hurt a little but ultimately remind us that feelings and compassion in this world are alive and well.

My Favorite Podcast
I absolutely adore Sarah and Susan. I stumbled onto this podcast a few months back, and here I am, 40 episodes in, and still loving it. Sarah's a riot and the discussion of poignant works is incredible and fun.

Great Podcast!
My husband and I are always discussing what we would mention if we were a guest on the podcast. Highly addicting and I actually find myself laughing a lot while listening. I've also started watching some of the shows/movies mentioned. Love it!!!

From one crybaby to two others
I am a huge crier. My family and friends all know this about me. From commercials to viral videos to movies and greeting cards, I am always crying about something (I even cry every time I walk into Disneyland and again when I watch the fireworks). Not only does Crybabies make me feel more normal about my highly sensitive personality, but I absolutely love finding out how many celebrities who I love are giant crybabies too! The Jason Mantzoukas episode in particular made me laugh and cry and love him even more, so I would definitely start there if you like jumping around in podcasts. Love Sarah and Susan, as well. Just an all around awesome podcast.

TYPO IN BLURB - please fix?
I love this, but the "managers to ..." typo in the description drives me to tears.

Everyone likes a good cry
This podcast is a much needed antidote to all of the cynicism of the world. It also helps that it’s super funny! From a fellow Crybaby, thank you!

Always look forward to it
Of all the podcasts I listen to, this is the one I keep wanting to butt in on. The conversation is always fun, and hits ideas no one else covers.

Wow. All of these amazing talented people that cry all the time too?! And then want to talk about it and share their feelings?! For this, I thank you Crybabies. We are not alone.

I like it
The hosts have a great dynamic and access to such fantastic guests. It’s a weird concept too, but I can listen to it without feeling like a crazy person. Love the theme song. My only piece of feedback is consider making it just a touch shorter. 45 min feels perfect—I say this about most podcasts because I know I can generally finish listening in one sitting!

Laugh’N'CryBabies
Who doesn’t enjoy getting to the gooey center of a favorite song or movie? Sarah and Susan usher us through those secret moments where art cuts through our calloused souls and tickles them. #GuiltyPleasure.

Wonderful Emotional Outlet and Fun!
This is a very unusual podcast but I love it and look forward to each new episode. The two hosts are so compatible and easy to listen to. Crybabies just makes me laugh, cry a bit and relate to the human emotions explored. Always enjoy the mix of music, guests and discussions. More than sentimental and soppy; its a great outlet that I look forward to future episodes. Highly recommend it.
