“The Dead Childrens of Jingle Bells” is a piece dedicated to the memory of the approximately seventy thousand children who lost their lives in Gaza.
The composition,
Only twice, and for just a few measures, the melody of Jingle Bells briefly appears.
This delicate, almost whispered quotation creates a stark contrast between the festive imagery of our traditions and the horror of the massacre. It is an emotional rupture — a reminder of how the world can keep celebrating while childhood is erased elsewhere.
This piece is not meant to be political; it is meant to be human.
An invitation to listen, to pause, to remember.
