The Bible clearly teaches that this world is not our home. We are searching, looking, anticipating, and hoping that there’s a better place, that home of the soul. God through Jesus has prepared a home for those that accept and believe in Him. Ultimately, God wants us to “Come Home.”

God desires to provide for everyone of our needs.

Just like the Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion we all are on a journey to discover wisdom, heart and courage. Unlike them we are not looking to the wizard but to God to supply our needs. This message calls everyone to step up in their faith and put action where are words have been.

The lessons from Oz is a 4 week series based on the movie The Wizard of Oz. Pastor Vincent will pull out Biblical truth and applicable lessons from this epic movie. This week just as Dorothy was discouraged and wanted to escape her situation in Kansas, we too want to escape our problems. However, God wants us to turn to Him and not just look for a way out.

We are living in captivity and imprisoned by these strongholds by choice because we’ve already been set free by Jesus Christ. We are imprisoned but are holding our release papers in our hands. We have grown accustom to and comfortable in our imprisonment. This week we look at how we can live free by increasing our Confidence, Courage and Control.

Today we are going to talk about the strongholds that are in our lives. For some this might be uncomfortable topic and for others this is right on time. For all, we must address the strongholds that keep us in bondage because they hinder us from growing closer to God and living abundantly.

You don’t have to be in school to take tests. We take them all the time. In our sermon in Ecclesiastes, the teacher, Solomon is preparing us for the final exam.

Destiny is the life God has preordained. It is the purpose of God for your life. It is the plan and programme of God for your life. It is what one is really meant for. It is what you have been called to be and to do. This week Pastor Vincent talks about how we can fulfill our destiny and live the first class life God designed for us.

We live in a culture which is overstimulated with messages and demands from radio, TV, social media, through email, regular mail, phone calls and more. How do we sort through all these and find balance in our lives?
