I was looking forward to listening to someone speak about the murders in Huntington because I’m from there and remember when this happened. The population is NOT 376,000 people. It’s barely 50,000. The whole TriState area maybe but not Huntington. I think most people from there would call it a college town not just a blue collar town especially since most of the industry has left. And for someone from WV to insinuate that the people who work these jobs are uneducated and because of that they use drugs is WILD.

I was eager to listen because I remember this from when it happened. Unfortunately, there were a few inaccuracies. The worst and most important of which was that Megan’s last name was Poston — not Post. I also didn’t like the comment about people being “stuck” here. Insignificant notes: we graduated with roughly 400-500 kids, not 800. And CMHS was consolidated from two high schools — Barboursville and Milton — not four.

Boo to the haters!! Some people just don’t understand the magnitude of Crimes and Closets. To those I feel sorry. Their minds and hearts aren’t big enough to capture the magic of Beth and Cristy. Thank goodness there are plenty of closet sisters that do get it. We are blessed. To the rest I say, move along and don’t murder about it. Thank you Cristy and Beth!! I’ll be seeing you. When I first found the pod, I tried to get into a few episodes. I thought maybe it was just me. I listened to the latest one after waiting a bit, and was disgusted. The "like" every other word as if they're still sorority sisters... completely unempathetic to victims and their families. Thank god youre hanging it up. There are podcasts that donate to charity and give back to a cause. Pods that reach out to families, to help and not to profit. Then there is this.

I love hearing your conversations it could easily be conversations between my best friend and I.

Crimes and closets has been one of my favorite podcasts to look forward to on Monday mornings! I love Christy and Beth’s relationship and they do a great job of retelling these cases with grace, maturity, and honesty. Anytime I have suggested a case they always respond!

I just found this to listen to a podcast about the murders in Vermont in the 1980s of the two 12 year olds. I’m 15 mins in and they keep laughing about details unrelated to the crime, but I still find it odd they’d be laughing at all about any details while reporting this. Stuff like, “oops, my bad I’m SO BAD AT GEOGRAPHY LOL!” Girls - think about tone and like, maturity?

Love this show, but I do have to say I am not a fan of Friday chitchat. I just want to listen to some true crime!

I randomly came across this podcast and I listen to a lot of different crime podcasts and this one is one of my favorites now, I love that I haven’t heard a lot of the cases because you get a little tired of listening to podcasts about the same cases over and over and I also love a lot of the episodes are recommended from listeners. The cases are very well researched and explained. Keep up the great work!

I found Crimes and Closets on accident while looking into another case. I can’t stop listening something about the ladies is so comforting they are real and don’t hold back and I love that. The crimes are well researched and they’re so easy to listen to!! Love this podcast!! P.S. ladies look into the kidnapping and murder of Sarah Anne Wood. She disappeared in my home town when I was a child (I’m 35 now) and her body has never been found. Katelynn

How would I survive Monday's without Cristy and Beth! Thankful for well told crimes, with compassion and information, always respecting the victims and their families while giving all information available. I also appreciate the fantastic book recommendations!

I love this podcast. Who doesn’t love two moms drinking wine in a closet uncovering crime scenes. We all hide from our children in our closets but this gives new meaning to what we can accomplish in our closets. Two genuine women and I’m here for it!

I love listening to Crimes & Closets while drinking my morning coffee. It feels like chatting with my girlfriends and hearing about the latest intriguing case they binged. I’m so here for it. I love how they bring all the info together to give listeners the best details and a fantastic summary of these stories that makes you feel like you researched along with them. I so appreciate the respect they give to the dignity of all the victims in their stories, being careful to honor them in what they disclose and how they frame them. I also love the mama perspective these two can’t help but bring out when talking about everything from victims to suspects. Thanks for letting us a be a part of your friendship and love of crime stories!

Could use more thorough researching. Many missing pieces and details left out. Also caught numerous statements of fact that are just wrong in the Michelle Young case episode.

If I could make a suggestion, please tone it down on the giggling. You’re talking about real people and real murders. The occasional joke is fine but imagine if the families of the victims were listening. Would they find that funny? I really want to give this five stars and I know you two can get there. Just please don’t laugh when describing the murders, it feels like a lack of empathy.

They don’t talk too much off the subject which is important for me to keep listening.

The first couple episodes they have some sound issues but stay listening! They are super responsive to fans requests and great to listen to. I feel like I am sitting in the closet with them talking about true crime!

Don’t waste your time with this podcast. Hosts are awkward with each other, stumble on their words, and just plain boring. The random silent pauses and the loud grasps are cumbersome and distracting. This is a weak attempt to copy Crime Junkies successful formula.

Great stories. Great narration. Just all around great! I’m only in Season 1 but I’m loving it! Thanks for entertaining us!
