I love this show. The subject matter is always interesting, but on top of that the hosts really make it fun and entertaining. At the same time, they strike the right balance when it comes to respecting victims and speaking about somber or serious things. I'm a huge fan.

Part 1 was phenomenal! Can’t wait for part 2!

Maybe this is the result of their jobs, but they often come across as callous and mean, giggling about victims and expressing zero compassion or empathy.

I’m a first time listener and started with the most recent episode. I was enjoying the form and delivery of the case being told, however, I was instantly turned off when the victim was being referred to as a “junkie” - “addict” would’ve been suffice and a lot less crude/judgmental. Not sure if I’ll try another episode.

Love this podcast! The only warning I’d give is if descriptions of gore make you nauseous then move along. I personally can listen to gore and as long as I don’t have to see it or smell it. Kudos to these ladies who have to live it, thank you for sharing your experiences.

this podcast details everything about the real things that csi’s go through and deal with. these ladies make it fun and interesting. as a young csi i am learning so much from them. thank you for making mondays a little extra special

I’m a fan of crass humor and I’m not shy about rough language, but the way the hosts talk about the dead is pretty gross. Not the technical aspects of their deaths, but repeatedly referring to a person who drowned as an idiot and having a generally disrespect for the people who belonged to the bodies they’re discussing. It wasn’t funny, it just came off as mean and was a massive turn off. I was so excited for a show with women talking forensic science, but this gets a big pass from me.

I love love love this show! This is EXACTLY how real CSIs think and communicate with each other. It feels like I’m sitting in my own crime scene lab. I look forward to the show every Monday!

Laura and Shelly break the mold with this podcast. They get into the gory details of crime scene investigation processes in a respectful and informative way. They are equal parts intriguing, intelligent, fierce, and nerdy (in the best way, of course). I'm a podcast junkie and a lover of all things forensic, and this podcast is a home run. Super excited to listen to this podcast in the future as more episodes are available! 🤍

What they lack in wit they try to compensate for by being raunchy and tasteless during their banter. The actual content is interesting and I was looking forward to getting this kind of perspective but they're trying too hard to be funny and it comes off as desperate and too distracting. Hopefully, they will lean into just being themselves instead of podcast personalities and it will be enjoyable in the future.

As a future social worker, I’m learning a lot and it’s also entertaining at the same time. Love that the podcast is hosted by professionals with experience in forensics.

Way to go ladies. Love this new twist on true crime. Definitely a fan of hearing the in-house lingo backed up with the technical terminology. Hope to continue listening for years to come.

The topics of discussion are interesting, especially the anecdotes. However, the hosts ruin it for me. They are crass. I don’t want to hear about whether they had sex the night before. Referring to gathering evidence as “swabbing dicks” is vile. I am a physician in a field where frank speech is the norm- but these hosts take it way too far. When talking about their profession, I expect them to be SOMEWHAT professional.

I have been in law enforcement for over a decade. This is the greatest CSI podcast I have listened to. The real of this podcast is a great learning tool for new officers.

The indifference to the dead is terrible and bad jokes like fat people always die upstairs is abhorrent. Get some class.

Granted, I’m biased as a friend and guest on the show, but you two are just awesome! Hilarious back and forth banter combined with real-life investigation is very much needed in todays world of CSI effect!

This show is really making me think about going back to school for CSI. You guys are awesome. After the first episode, I went around “schooling” anyone who would listen on adipocere and “human soup”. Nobody found it as cool as I did 🤷🏾‍♀️

The title here describes the show. It’s fun hearing new things regarding crime even if it does make you want to vomit.

I find the show interesting and I enjoy the hosts. I do wish they would show a bit of respect for the dead. Some of the comments made by the hosts don’t sit right with me. I like dark humor, but only when it’s done well. Will continue to listen and see how it progresses, then decide if the show is right for me.

I don’t watch tv due to my beliefs, so I’m looking into ways to keep myself entertained, I’m trying books but sometimes my ears just want to hear something other than music or my voice and I ran across podcasts, after scrolling through numerous topics, I wanted something entertaining and funny, and this is the one I chose. I pressed played and started scrubbing my tub and I started enjoying it, I could imagine what these ladies were talking about in my head so it was like watching tv lol I like it so far. Thank you ladies!💗

This podcast is brilliantly done. These CSI ladies are intelligent, sassy, and unapologetically honest about what’s it’s like to be a real crime scene investigator! It’s conversational style makes me feel like I should be sitting right there with them! Highly recommend!

I love that you guys are discussing the details and what goes into the science of a crime scene. However, I feel that there is a consistent amount of rambling on this podcast that doesn’t lead to any conclusion. I’d like to hear a breakdown of a real crime or murder that occurred.

What a cool take on a crime podcast! I’m learning so much about what actually goes on behind the scenes that no one ever talks about. I was sold at the “human crockpot” discussion - so gross yet so compelling! If you’re like me (a self proclaimed weirdo that has a strong stomach) you’ll enjoy the candor about blood, guts, soupy body parts and everything in between. The stories are disgusting but at the same time I can’t stop listening! I like the dynamic between the girls - they manage to keep a good vibe even when the subject matter involves the smell of partially digested pizza in the stomach of a decomposing body. Can’t wait for more, I’m excited about this one!

It’s nice to hear the scientific basis vs the glamourizing!! Although the women keep it upbeat and funny - it feels heartfelt and honest and very smart!! Spatter vs splatter!!?!!

I was so sick of true crime that exploited on the stories of victims that may or may not have wanted their stories told to begin with. This show is so great in its approach of digging into the science of forensics and talking about cases with great respect. Cannot wait to hear more of this show!
