Dallas Fire and Rescue responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  According to the witnesses, a small silver SUV may have been involved in the shooting. On September 14, 2020 at approximately 8:50am, Dallas officers responded to a shooting call in the 1500 block of Cockrell Hill Road. When officers arrived, they located a male security officer lying on the ground suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Witnesses stated that the security guard, who has been identified as Jose Montes, a 28 year-old Latin male, was servicing an ATM at a local Credit Union.  The suspect, a male wearing a black jacket with the word “police” written on the back, approached complainant carrying a rifle and demanded property. The suspect then shot Mr. Montes. The suspect was then seen taking property from the armored vehicle and fled the scene in a white Volkswagen Sedan.  The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased. Jeffrey MacDonald is an American former medical doctor and United States Army captain who was convicted in August 1979 of murdering his pregnant wife and two daughters in February 1970 while serving as an Army Special Forces physician. MacDonald has always proclaimed his innocence of the murder of his wife and children, which he claims were committed by four intruders—three male and one female—who had entered the unlocked rear door of his apartment at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and attacked him, his wife, and 2 daughters with instruments such as knives, clubs and ice picks.  Prosecutors and appellate courts have pointed to strong physical evidence attesting to his guilt. He is currently incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution in Cumberland, Maryland. 1- Amir Devaughn May 8, 2009 was shot and killed while driving by two suspects that fled on foot after the shooting. Described as 2 black males 16-18 years old, one was about 5'll and the other about 5'3.  It happened on E 120th and Princeton.
