Eudy Simelane was a South African football star, famous for being an amazing football player but also famous for being an openly gay woman in South Africa. Tragically, women being attracted to other women is more than some men can handle and these men take it upon themselves to "fix" gay women/men/trans people using "corrective rape". Eudy Simelane was a victim of corrective gang rape and she didn't survive her attack, like many others targeted both in South Africa and around the world. 20 year old Sophie Lionnet had always dreamed of working with children, so when she got a job as an au pair she was thrilled. During the first UK national lockdown in May 2020, residents of a quiet, secluded area in the Forest of Dean noticed a suspicious car and called the police.
