At Cody Regional Health (CRH), we are completing a system-wide launch of our new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system called EPIC starting on October 1, 2022. The simultaneous go-live will encompass all of CRH’s medical clinics around the Big Horn Basin Region, which will exchange secure patient records across a single sharing platform. The EPIC system is made possible partly through a partnership with St. Vincent Healthcare, now part of Intermountain Healthcare. CRH patients will be able to use a new digital tool called CRH MyChart, allowing them to easily locate personal health information on demand. They will also be able to communicate more easily with their doctor, complete healthcare questionnaires before their visit, schedule appointments, and be more involved in managing their overall health. Jennifer Jones, Information Services Director, talks through what she and the team have been preparing for this "Epic" go-live! EPIC will replace Meditech, our current medical record and patient billing software. Hundreds of CRH employees have worked diligently on this key initiative since 2020.
