Creepalachia is an excellent podcast that captures Appalachian folklore history and atmosphere with real respect and care. The storytelling is engaging the research is solid and the tone feels authentic rather than sensational. It does a great job preserving regional stories while making them genuinely interesting and easy to listen to. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Appalachia mystery or well told stories.

I stumbled across JD on TikTok and immediately ran to my podcast app to start following the podcast. I work in Point Pleasant, WV and live in Meigs County, Ohio so hearing some of the history of West Virginia, crimes and haunted places is very interesting. This podcast is a must listen!

I started following during the Natalie Cochran trial and I have loved how much work is put into episodes whether it is true crime or community issues and activism. Definitely check out this growing podcast.

I just had twins and have to feed them every couple hours around the clock as they are preemies so I don’t get much sleep and stay tired but these podcasts help me from falling asleep and keep me engaged. I really enjoy them. Other shows and podcasts I get burnt out and bored on but not these! Thank you!

JD had a gift of keeping things interesting and fun. I find myself super engaged in the interview and then a quick joke by him makes it seem like a normal conversation between friends. As a fellow podcaster I can tell you he puts his heart and soul into this show and my hats off to him for that. Can’t wait to see this show go mainstream. Shoot yeah!!!!
