Episode 9: Katja Guiri of Munich
On this episode I speak with Katja Guiri, who was until very very recently the host of CreativeMornings in Munich. In our conversation I was jealous about how much of our global community Katja’s been able to experience — she grew up in Slovenia and first attended an event in Ljubijana, started attending events across Europe as she traveled, and then got involved first as a volunteer when she moved to Munich. We talked about Oktoberfest, how her work managing creatives helps her manage a team of creative volunteers, and what it’s like to sleep curled up on the floor next to a BMW — I think you’re going to love hearing her story. You can find Katja on LinkedIn, where she'd love to answer YOUR questions about Solvenia or cars or beer or managing creative people: https://www.linkedin.com/in/katja-guiri/ This podcast and all of CreativeMornings/Denver are supported by: Ogilvy Friday Health Plans The Post Modern Company AdClub Colorado

Episode 8: Michelle Mercurio of Richmond
My guest today is Michelle Mercurio, host of the Richmond Chapter of CreativeMornings. Richmond is a city bursting with creative energy and a large creative community, and Michelle is fortunate to have an INCREDIBLE team helping her lead the chapter. I was inspired by the way they work together and the things they've done during the pandemic.  Michelle also shared with me how her work as a brand catalyst and "authenticist" influence her as a host. She describes "authenticist" as a person who helps visionaries embrace their identities through self-trust and storytelling, and shared some of why and how she does that. Michelle shares a specific exercise called the See You Letter -- try it out and see for yourself!  You can follow the Richmond chapter on Instagram at @CreativeMornings_rva, and Michelle's personal instagram is @michmerc. Episode 7: Jamie Rodgers of Lexington
My guest on today’s episode is Jamie Rodgers, host of the chapter in Lexington, Kentucky. Among the hosts I’ve met or spoken to, Jamie is unique in that her day job is with the city of Lexington itself. As a person who’s always worked in the public sector, she has a unique perspective on what CreativeMornings brings to the community and has been able to integrate CreativeMornings into her city in ways that are really inspiring. For example, as you’ll hear today they had their mayor speak at a recent event, which is a goal we’ve had in Denver for a while. Episode 6: Caio Matos of São Paulo
Caio Matos is the host of the Sao Paulo chapter of CreativeMornings and works in the field of innovation and community building. Caio describes Sao Paulo as a very creatively diverse city, and their chapter as having many folks who work outside of the fields we typically call creative like art and design. This also reflects Caio’s own life and skill set: he has a degree in pharmaceuticals and found creative mornings through a research company he was working with. In this episode you'll hear about Caio's story growing up outside of São Paulo, finding his way into a creative career, and how being an organizer continues to inspire and inform his world outside of CreativeMornings.
