This weekend was a big deal for me because I finally went to the Sterling Women's Weekend, which is a seminar on relationships and tapping into the source of your power. Well, I sure as hell am tapped in and it feels amazing. I am the third generation in my family to attend this course, and it is an integral part of the way my parents raised my siblings and I, and they continue to use it in their relationship with each other today.Though I cannot talk about events from the Women's Weekend, I was able to share what I got from the weekend on a personal level. As I sit at the airport and reminisce about my time in Vietnam, I am overcome with joy and gratitude for the experiences and the people I met along the journey. This has been the most freedom I have ever experienced, even more than I felt in Cambodia!I learned some hard truths about myself over this time, and I am embracing my flaws and thankful that I am able to see where I am ready for growth. In this episode I discuss risk-taking as being vital to our growth as human beings. In order to keep moving forward, we must say yes to opportunities and move past the fear that we all experience before taking the leap - the key word here is before.I believe that EVERYTHING happens for a reason, even the bad stuff. I see everything as a part of the red thread that will inevitably lead me to the life I am meant to live. This thinking allows me to live without worry of any negative or uncertain outcome, which allows me to take more risks.
