So good.
I just discovered this podcast...it is SO GOOD. As a graphic designer who works from home, does part time daycare for my 16 month old daughter, and is just generally trying to manage the craziness of it all (while not going broke), Creative Playdate resonates with me on so many levels...and makes me feel normal! Ha When you are by yourself all the time it’s good to know there are other creatives going through the same thing. I love that I can both be inspired creatively and check my parenting mental health in one, fun and conversational place. Love the laughs I get while listening. Thank you for that! Added bonus is discovering new artists and inspiration! Highly recommend.

It's OK to have a kid AND want to draw.
Just found this and was perfect timing... CREATIVE PLAYDATE shares lives from the demographic of creatives that have kids; which feels like a quiet minority in our industry, but this pod shines a light on the truth–sharing the stories, work habits, and struggle of parenting while being a working artist.

At the intersection of parenting & creative professional
Hearing how other creative folks tackle parenting and to learn about how they divide their time, focus, and creative process is vital. Great range if folks to be inspired by in this first season. I'm looking forward to season 2.

Just what I've been looking for!
I really love that this podcast not only talks to creative professionals, but that they discuss balancing their careers with being parents. I'm also a mom and artist, and I feel like I’ve found my people! The conversations and questions are so great as well!

Highly Recommend!
Listening to others go through similar experiences is, admittedly, oddly life-affirming. Pursuing a creative career has some differences as compared to other types of fields that are difficult to translate when relating to other people. That in itself can feel kind of isolating (even for folks who aren’t necessarily opposed to solitary work). Becoming a parent changed how much creative margin I have in my workday as well as what types of projects I can focus on. Really enjoying this podcast and hearing from other creatives who also happen to be juggling the pace of creative careers amidst keeping up a kid or kids. Highly recommend!

It's Design Matters meets The Longest Shortest Time
Wonderful podcast. I'm a parent of young children, working in the creative arts, and I've had a hard time finding others in the same position. Listening to this podcast made me feel like I had finally found some friends who could relate. The interviews are free flowing and natural, and the guests are so happy to share.
