I also live in Shelby and I’m a major crime junkie, so it’s really cool to have a local podcast covering all kinds of cases. As a full-time third shifter and part-time photographer in the area, you can imagine I’m usually running on little to no sleep — but your podcast keeps me entertained while I’m glued to my laptop editing during the day and helps keep me awake through long nights at work. I heard about y’all through a co-worker! Asha Degree updates was the first one I listened to, obviously being from Hickory and commutes to Shelby for work I pass her sign daily. Since then though avid listener. Just today, I thought I would like to listen to podcast on Zahara Baker, I just started listening to your older episodes and found hers. I was really young when Asha went missing and in high school when Zahara’s case happened, so being able to listen and understand the information now is nice.

I discovered this podcast today while I was at work!!! I love how yall tell stories and the country twang is the best!!!

It sounds like you walked into a southern house and two friends were talking about a topic that they know a lot about making the story easy to comprehend. The very best of luck gentlemen.

I found this podcast while looking for a specific case. I’m going to be honest, I typically don’t like podcasts narrated by men but I gave the episode a chance and I am HOOKED. The narrators add a bit of comedic relief while reviewing the cases and their personalities wrap up the episodes in a neat little bow. 5 stars because I can’t wait to catch up on all the older episodes, listening to the “same old same old”.

I found you guys a couple months ago and have been listening daily trying to catch up. I love the way you guys cover the cases and the friendship y’all share. I would love to hear an episode of you guys just telling a little about yourselves and how got to doing true crime podcasts. I’m in Burke County and it’s cool to hear about these cases close to home. I’m down in your neck of the woods a good bit also. Was just down there this past weekend at Anderson Motor Speedway.

I started listening to you guys for the continued coverage you have given the Asha Degree case, y’all have done a great job honoring her family and trying to keep her name and story relevant. I had the pleasure of serving dale the other day at my job Boardwalk Billy’s and him and his buddy were great company and amazing and funny people. Near the end of their experience dale asked me if I like true crime and I love true crime so when he told me that they have a podcast I got so excited. I’ve always wanted to meet someone who has a true crime podcast and I finally have. And after listening to a few podcasts I have to say yall are my favorite. The way yall tell the stories with some humor is the best and honestly my favorite thing to listen to going to and from work. Thank yall for what yall do!!!

I have been looking for a good podcast and first I want to apologize because when I came across this podcast and seen the Crack House first I thought oh no I don’t want to listen about any crack head people stories. Well, after I started listening to the episodes I became addicted to the pod cast and couldn’t wait for the next story. You both tell the stories like you are right there in the scene . I’m not sure if you all have ever wrote a book but you would be a good author. I will be sharing the pod cast with my friends. Thank you and yall are the best❤️

Everything is on point with this podcast! My husband told me about it and I have actually caught up to the current year. We live in Lincoln Co and know many of the “local” stories covered! Also know a few of your experts. My husband is retired law enforcement so it’s nice to know the facts are accurate. Keep up the great work….. maybe one day closer to finding Asha Degree.
