Just Wow!
I have to say, I stumbled upon this podcast. They had soooo much in-depth perspective of Annihilation (which until I heard them thought it stunk.) Yet their perspective made me watch movie again. They totally get it. Catching up on the podcast and going back to see the movies. Great podcast.

Really amazing chemistry!
These two are absolutely adorable together! I’ve listened to dozens of their shows and always wondered if they were a couple because their chemistry was so great. They mentioned on a recent podcast that they were married (recently, I believe? Or maybe they just moved in together - I forget) and that made me so happy!
They’re really insightful and their takes on these books and films are through and fresh. It’s just a really great listen and I hope they choose to keep going for a long time because these are great!
Thanks for making these for us!!!

Great book reviews and the best way to do movie reviews
The two hosts are always in perfect sync. They sound serious but also seem to be having fun. The idea of comparing the book to the movie is exceptional, unique, and original. Best of all they are just as good reviewing a romance novel and. Science Fiction novel. Keep up the great work.

So fun and entertaining!
Not only is this podcast interesting and diverse in what books and movies they cover, it is also just so entertaining to hear Adina and Ian chat about these books and movies and there have been episodes that have literally made me laugh out loud! They also cover serious topics and issues and handle it well.

Love!
I’ve been listening to this podcast for a couple years, and to say I love it is an understatement! It’s funny, insightful, and the excitement I feel when they do an episode on a book/movie combo I love (or hate) is REAL! My faves include their Harry Potter series, the Twilight series, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Big Little Lies, and many more!! I recommend it to anyone who asks for podcasts to listen to!

Relaxing and Insightful
I discovered this podcast about two weeks ago. I’m steadily going through their back catalogue. They have great chemistry. Their conversations and recaps are insightful. I find myself talking back to them when I listen to them when I’m driving. It’s like having a discussion with friends. Highly recommend.

My Happy Place
This is my favorite book to movie podcast. I’ve listened to others, but these hosts have great chemistry and the best conversations that include respectful discussions on touchy topics. It’s like kicking back and listening to your friends.

Cover To Credits Cutest Couple
Just found this podcast to nurse my book hangover after reading and watching the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series. These two deep diving into books and movies are so funny, entertaining and easy going. Love their insights and their jokes and their chemistry. This podcast is here to stay in my rotation.

Good premise, bad execution
1. Bad audio almost like it was recorded in a bathroom
2. More research is done into the book than the movie (although they didn’t mention Peter Benchley wrote Jaws) and basic movie facts are not mentioned or repeated incorrectly
3. They're so afraid to disagree that they just repeat “yyyeah” like Bill from Office Space when the other person talks
I hope they get better or someone else can do the same podcast with better execution

Great listen if even you don't know the subject matter!
Adina and Ian provide a descriptive and entertaining in-depth review of the books and movies while keeping things interesting, never boring! I will even listen to the episodes where I've neither read the book nor seen the movie because I like to hear their descriptions and analysis. Good audio, good rapport, and good insight all adds up to a great show overall!

Great Podcast But Way Too Sensitive
This is an incredible podcast! Their insights are incredible and I respect them. However the reason I do not give this 5 stars is because anything they perceive as a "problem" (which there is a TON of them) gets talked about in a SJW context. There are racist and homophobic characters and those characters add to the point of stories. It is almost as though they want every story or TV show to be sunshine and rainbows with no REAL conflict.

Everything That Makes a Podcast Great!
I got hooked onto Cover to Credits after listening to Ian and Adina’s review of Little Children. I was looking for a podcast that covered that movie, so I stumbled upon them and it’s the best decision ever for a number of reasons. I ended up going through most of their episodes in chronological order, choosing episodes where I’ve seen the movie and/or the book.
Ian and Adina have great chemistry during each episode. They make it easy to discern when they’re talking about the book versus when they’re talking about the movie. On both fronts, they are knowledgeable about the two mediums in question. They’re fair in their discussions, talking about parts in the book that are great and/or problematic as well as parts in the movie that are great and/or problematic.
Ian and Adina are focused and never lose track of the conversation. They have good banter that thankfully doesn’t boil down into doing bits for the sake of ego which would drastically hijack the show. It’s a great podcast in general and I look forward to more reviews in the future.
My suggestion: The Ice Storm by Rick Moody, adapted into a 1997 film directed by Ang Lee

Amazing and attention grabbing
It’s funny and lighthearted, and even though I have the attention span of a nat, I enjoy sitting and listening to the podcast. I happened to come a crossed the podcast when I was looking at stuff for coraline, I don’t usually like when podcasts are about reviewing the book or the movie. So grabbing my attention like this is a job well done from the podcast makers

Serious, unserious, always smart
I came across this podcast about two years ago and have been constantly impressed by the quality of Ian and Adina's perceptions re: characters, themes, literary tropes... and of course Hollywood gossip. Last year they took me up on doing a Cloud Atlas book and movie (David Mitchell / Wachowskis) show. What were they thinking?!? hahaha, it was really good. I am a proud C2C Patreon supporter -- I wanna see em keep going! Their content is always solid and to my mind some of the best organic podcasting out there.

Great podcast with awesome hosts
I love this podcasts. They cover a wide range of genres and the hosts do a great job of detailing the plots in the book and movie side of the stories while also comparing the strengths and weaknesses of them. The only thing I would change is I wish they would read some passages form the book so we can get a feel for it. Great podcast!
Keep them coming!!!

The host
This is my favorite book lmaoo, I loved it and the movie. Not mad at this episode I was excited to listen to it and I laughed a lot during the podcast Bc everything was fact 😅
I love the dynamic of the two hosts and I'm excited to listen to all of your old episode and get some new ones.
My only critic is that in the description of the podcast it says "bi-weekly" which meant i was getting TWO episodes every Week (super excited since most ppl only put our one episode every week) 😯...only to be disappointed that it's "bi-monthly" 🤣.
Overall great podcast, give it a listen if you enjoy bookish and movie content, more bookish tho.

Love it!
One of my fav podcasts! Love hearing Ian and Adina’s opinions on my fav books and movies, and if it’s something I haven’t seen or read, they always make me want to see/read it!

Delightful with insightful analysis
Great podcast. Ian and Adina do a fantastic job of recapping the novels they cover and their adaptations for television and film. They have great chemistry and their discussions are insightful and thought provoking. Highly recommend for readers and those who want to know more about film and TV adaptations from novels.

I can't read
This podcast is super solid....especially for only being a few months old! Most of the episodes I have no actual experience with the book or the movie and it's still great to listen to! It doesn't matter if you haven't seen the movie or read the book for a particular episode jump on in and Ian and Adina will bring you up to speed. Keep it coming....because dis is dope.

Book Club Magic
The perfect show if you are looking for all the joy of being in a unique book/movie club with two charming and intelligent friends, without any fuss! Adina and Ian's show flows naturally and no matter how long the episode is, you still wish there were a few more minutes to share with them. They offer the best mix of initial reactions, thoughts, and analytical insights with the kind of warm, welcoming rapport that only the best of friends share. Highly recommended. 10/10!

Love the Podcast!
Each episode has been so well researched, and gives me great new insight into the stories that I've never thought critically about. I even found myself learning so much about books that I'm very familiar with (Scott Pilgrim). I also find myself adding more and more books that they cover to my reading list. Great conversation without too many inside jokes if you haven't read the books or seen the movies!

Quality Podcast with New Insights
For a relatively new podcast, Cover to Credits has been impressive up to this point. Thus far each episode has been unique to itself yet on the whole the podcast has a variety in its genres--so much so that even if you don't like or know of all the books and movies reviewed, you're bound to find something you recognize or like. In minor ways the podcast is still finding its footing, you might hear an occassional "um" or "you know" but the general quality is very professional, easy to listen to and has genuine depth. Each episode I listen to I find a different perspective, interpretation, or new insight into the material--which is a main reason to keep listening! It's like a book club without the social interaction. If you're looking for quality material and easy listening...all you need an internet connection and earbuds.

I don't like reading
As someone who doesn't really like reading, I still find Ian and Adina's commentary super enjoyable. They summarize the stories very well. Best of all, they make the comparisons and contrasts intriguing even if you know nothing of the book or movie!
Kickin K
Informative and entertaining, a must for film buffs and readers alike!
I have always been interested in the differences between works of literature and their respective film adaptations, and Ian and Adina explore those differences with charming humor and humility. If you're into movies and books to any degree, give this a listen. Trust me, they'll keep you interested.

Easy to follow yet super comprehensive!
Ian and Adina have created a fantastic show that can be picked up by just about anybody, whether you've read the book, seen the movie, both, or even neither! I've fallen under each of these categories and have enjoyed listening just as much every time. Not only are these two very easy on the ears, but you can tell they really know their stuff! Each episode is broken down in a pretty straightforward manner, while still managing to work through all major (and a lot of minor!) plot points and differences between each version. I really love the recent addition of "Lightning Round"! I think it's great that they point out those interesting and/or silly things that often get glossed over in more generic book and movie reviews. Give them a listen--I have no doubt you'll be furiously refreshing on new episode release days in no time at all!

A trip to the library and the theater at the same time
I haven't experienced both the book and the movie for any of the episodes, and for one I haven't read or seen either. That doesn't matter with this show, though! Because of the comprehensive discussion and lack of "inside-jokes" and tangents, I feel welcome listening to the podcast. At the end of the episode, I feel like I've seen both the movie and read the book in just an hour!

oh hell yeah
Ian George and Adina Hilton examine both the novel Coraline and the film adaption exceedingly well. They’re informative while also being entertaining and, I must say, cute and hilarious. This couple knows their stuff and I can’t wait to hear more from them!
