Fantastic
I discovered this podcast about 3 months ago. I listened to 80 plus episodes since then, got to end of 2021. It might be a niche topic but Rick is a fantastic interviewer and gets to make even the shiest of the guests to think about his questions and give to a decent answer. Some of his guests are legends, some are regular people, some guests are naturals and some are like a fish out of the water, still it all adds up to an absolutely fantastic show thanks to Ric. I only wish he could find someone half as good as him to interview Ric Gazarian

Great podcast for frequent international travelers
In the last month, I’ve listened to 7 podcasts out of the 100+. I plan to listen to all. In each podcast, I picked up pieces of information which will help my travels and was fascinated by the people interviewed. The podcast is especially helpful for those who want to go to hard-to-get-to places. Ric is a warm interviewer who keeps the conversations going without a hitch by asking relevant questions and sharing his experiences.

I don’t understand
I listen to a LOT of podcasts, many of them travel-related. My problem with this podcast is reflected by the episode descriptions which, in other podcasts, describe the content of the episode. This podcast's descriptions are literally, "Johnny Smith has traveled to 135 countries." As much as I love to travel, I've never understood counting stamps on a passport. I've listened to several of these episodes, and it's shocking how many people tell stories like, "I landed in Central African Republic at 5:00pm, checked into my hotel, and had to get to the airport the next day at noon for my flight to Cameroon." I wish someone could explain to me the point. Having listened to several episodes now, I still am not understanding. When I get a stamp in my passport, that stamp represents experiences, memories, people I've met, food I've eaten, music I've heard, festivals I've attended, hikes I've taken. It's not just ink on a page representing country #43. In addition, this podcast might as well be renamed "Privileged white people bored with their jobs." I don't guilt them for their privilege (I am privileged, myself.) But the superficiality with which they travel seems to take that privilege for granted, and that bothers me.

Good Idea, Needs Variety
Really love the concept of this podcast. Interesting to hear the stories of people who’ve explored so much and hear their thoughts on places I’ve never even heard of before. Do have to admit it gets a little “one note” after awhile with people saying the same thing to the same questions all the time. Would be good to see some the show feature more people with unique angles like Danay Bustamante’s dancing goal. LGBT travelers? Someone from a country with a weak passport? So many stories and angles to hear. Or even better to hear interviews of travelers that are chasing the goal of every country but have 50-100 visits and have them interviews from the middle of the struggle. Would be great to hear from people striving for it in addition to those that have done it or are pretty much done. Still, great podcast.

Great Conversations With The Most Interesting People
Ric is an excellent interviewer. He is able to keep things on track and will be sure to follow up where needed to bring to life some very unique travel stories. This podcast will give you wanderlust. This show has introduced me to many things the best of which was nomad mania. I was very surprised to see how my ranking ended up being on that site. Thank you Ric for putting this podcast together. Currently at 82 countries and hoping one day to be well traveled and interesting enough to appear on the program. I love to listen to your show while I am traveling as I find it motivates me to keep exploring. Thanks for everything you do. Please keep up the great work.

Compelling travel stories!
I'm working my way through all these podcasts and really enjoying it. As a world traveler myself, I have grown a bit weary of others' often similar travel stories. But these fascinating people and their experiences are truly unique. Ric does a great job pulling great stories from them. Very inspiring!

Amazing stories
Thank you Ric I love the podcast. I just recently found your podcast and have binge listened to every episode. While my country count is minuscule (about 40) I have been amazed with your interviews. There are many of them I want to have a cold beer with and just absorb their experiences. Keep up the great work and I'll keep listening.

Inspiring! I eagerly await each new one!
As a country counter, I am absolutely hooked on this series. I have thoroughly enjoyed the interviews and love the longer ones! I feel like I'm listening to a couple travelers have a relaxed conversation. I hope you never run out of potential interviewees.
