Into the world of video game creation. Wess and Spencer do an excellent job digging in and asking how our video games are made. The interviews with indie game makers are intelligent and well thought out and has led to to many great games I Would have missed out on. It one of the few podcasts I have to listen to right after it downloads. Keep up the good work guys.

Core Elements has set itself apart from all else in its category. This show has brought consistently fantastic guests who provide insight into the gaming industry. Couple that with brilliant discussions about issues that are relevant to today's culture, and you will find that Core Elements has made its home at first place on my list of gaming podcasts.

This is a great podcast for anyone interested in gaming in anyway.

A tour-de-force that covers gaming topics both comical and philosophical. Wes and better go together better than yolo and swag!

I wish it would come out more often, but when it does they offer great insight into the gaming industry.

This is the finest podcast ever produced. My cousin listened to this podcast and was cured of cancer. My sister listened to it and her boyfriend finally proposed to her. I played it at my grandfather's grave and he remained dead, as he should. The best. -Cheddarface

This is a really high quality podcast. It deserves a lot more listeners than it has. Really in depth discussions which make them interesting to listen to even a year later. I listened to them all to pass the time at work and I'm sad that I've finally finished. Thanks Wes and Spencer for all your hard work!

I had no idea how interested I was in hearing from game developers until I discovered this Podcast. For about an hour or so I feel invited to sit and drink coffee while discussing on a 'every mans' level game design/development/production with the folks out there hard at work in the industry. Our hosts are great, asking the questions and topics I actually care about, not giving me an hour long commerical for the game the guest might be working on. Bravo, one listen and you will download the entire collection!

This show takes an interesting perspective into gaming with the people who make the games. Interesting discussion and humor throughout. Strongly recommend to all gamers.

This podcast is phenomenal. Let me start off by saying that the only podcasts I listen to are Core Elements and This American Life. Every week, Wes and Spencer put out a quality show with an amazing list of guests. These guys never cease to amaze me with their guests- they even had Mike Rugnetta of PBS. Every guest is different, but they are all great catalysts for intelligent discussions on gaming and how it affects our culture. As a college student going in for Game Design and Animation, I find much inspiration from listening to some of the guests' life stories. Many of these guys think I do. Its nice to finally have an intelligent podcast on gaming-not another "hey let me brag about what I did" podcasts. The world needs to see that video games can be a form of media and art too. Keep up the good work, guys. I look forward to future podcasts.

This podcast is the best DWP podcast they've put out, and it's very informative and entertaining, though it definitely needs more publicity. The average rating sort of speaks for itself. P.S. WES IS AWESOME

I've been listening since episode one, and I've been really happy to see this podcast mature after almost a year. I really enjoy the serious take on games and the many parts that go into making games what they are. With a wide variety of guests, the podcast provides an array of information and entertainment that is absent in many other games-focused podcasts. While it's not the first podcast I will load up, I have never and will never miss an episode. Plus it's one of the view places to find Spencer any more. Keep it up!

CE is a fantastic podcast in it's own way! I enjoy 'The Shaft', another DWP Podcast, and the guests they have in that one are fun and silly, but this takes a very unique look at the game industry that I haven't found anywhere else. The chemistry Spencer and Wes have with the guests is wonderful. And as a cherry on top, everything is described very eloquently, intelligently, and with great diction. You can really hear them having a good time, it keeps you laughing and thinking about games in many different perspectives. Keep it up guys, CE is a witty and fun rollercoaster!

I love hearing the perspective of the guests on the show. Getting insight into game development from folks inside the industry is valuable for any amateur game developer. Hearing the guests take on old games, their 'classic' games or even gaming news reveals the inner workings and thought processes not found elsewhere. Thanks Wes and Spencer!

Provides interesting and an in-depth look into the people of gaming.

This is one of the best showes dwp does it has the feel of the early nogs and cps because there the funny banter but also interesting discussion

If you are a gaiming fanatic then this is the podcast for you. They will talk about gaming news and there own game play. Plus being able to here from a diffrent game developer each week is just like an added bonus.

Altogether a great show, great topics, great hosts, great guests. If you like gaming, this or any of the other DWP shows will make you feel all sparkely inside. (howdy Wes!)

This podcast has me hooked after one episode and that in itself is amazing. This is a side of gaming that needs to be looked into more. The interviews with the developers are very much appreciated and with segments about retro games is fascinating when you begin to look at what they influenced

I really appreciate this podcast, it's very insightful to hear from the people who make games in a manner that's not the typical "Developer's Commentary" or press release. Even greater - hearing them talk about OTHER games, not just their own. I also very much enjoy the more laid-back and focused approach of this podcast to contrast with at least one of the Dead Workers Party's podcasts. It's hard to find quality, consistent podcast content in the general PC indie gaming arena but Wes and Spence nailed it with Core Elements. Industry news, personal play experiences, guest developer insight, resources...this podcast has it all. Great work, guys!
