Critical Connectivity Optimizing and Organizing, Rural Relationships with the Education and Elevating Medicine

<p>I had the pleasure of speaking to Dr. Cyril Torado, a graduate of the Altru Family Medicine Residency of Grand Forks ND, speaks about the amazing growing experiences he had during his residency in a rural area and one of his passion projects regarding the Halverson Home Visit. Dr. Torado was the first author of “The Halvorson Home Visit: Improving Patient Outcomes and Resident Education.” which was presented at the North Dakota Academy of Family Physicians Annual Conference, 2020 where it won the Robert Wells Poster Contest. He speaks about how the home visits provided an amazing opportunity for residents to learn and form unique connections to their patients.</p>
