This one is worthwhile. Concise , well organized and informative. Statements are backed by trials that are referenced. Also the hosts are very enjoyable to listen to and makes it a good listen.

Mike sounds like Joe Rogan. I wish I cared enough to look him up to see if he looks like Joe Rogan but I don’t. Therefore, I spend every episode wondering if I’m listening to someone who looks like Joe Rogan instead of focusing on the content.

But I’m really excited I found these guys! I’m an auditory learner and remember things SO much more when they are delivered in this way! Their sense of humor also makes me laugh out loud while sitting at red lights like a crazy lady. Keep it up!

I’ve been a retail pharmacist for several years and this podcast is such a great refresher for things I don’t see as much and also keeps me up to date on some more recent developments that I hadn’t heard of (I work the night shift alone so this podcast is the main way I stay on top of things since I don’t get much chance to talk to other pharmacists.) thanks for everything and keep them coming please!

Recent grad just got hired and have a long drive to work every day, great refresher to listen to on the road....Also, Mike and Cole are pretty funny which means a lot coming from me since I am also pretty funny so you'll get practice with pharmacy and laughing, much better than pharmacy and crying

I enjoy the clinical pearls and discussion of recent lit with a peppering of humor and banter. I’ve found listening to be efficacious in decreasing the relative risk of my mind turning to mush despite cancelled rotations. Thanks for taking the time to do this podcast, it’s majorly beneficial for us students!

Used to be my favorite podcast, until the episode on antiepileptic medication. Half of it was narcissistic rambling that made me feel like I was sitting back at Wando. The other half contains great clinical information and I especially enjoyed the review of different types of seizures and corresponding therapeutic options.

Podcast has nuggets of useful clinical information. The rest is filled with unrelated chatter and superficial basic information that any pharmacy student knows.

Great presentation. Evidence based. The woman narrator has a beautiful voice.

I am a 3rd year pharmacy student and this podcast has been a great tool for me to keep up and remember things as I progress to becoming a pharmacist. Just last week on my way to class I listened to a heart failure case and then in my class we had a patient case where the patient had heart failure and was prescribed a beta blocker that is not one of the top three choices for patients with heart failure. I not only felt extremely well versed in these medications but I impressed some of my fellow students because this podcast reaffirmed this information in my mind and really helped solidify it. Now I will never forget it. keep up the great work! it is a great podcast for reviewing as well as learning new things

I’m currently studying for my NAPLEX and this podcast has been very helping in reviewing and studying topics. I listen to it on my commutes to work and they get me in the pharmacy mindset lol. Not a bad review of common diseases and pharmacotherapy. Most useful for pharmacy students, but really anybody who wants a review may find it helpful. I can’t stand their voices, however, particularly the kid’s monotone

The cancer episode was my favorite. Not only was there a great story about presentations in the pre-PowerPoint era, but it felt like a casual conversation that happened to be about antineoplastics. 5 stars isn’t enough for the work that goes into this Pharmcast. He deserves it

If you want to go beyond required CE hours or want to review/expand the knowledge of clinical topics- this is the podcast to go to. Mike provides deep insight into variety of disease states with heavy clinical evidence behind any treatment option available. Definitely a podcast to go to for pharmacology and medicine updates. The podcast is also not as snobby as many out there due to fun chemistry between Mike and Cole.
