Big-Boy Foosh Got the Flannel from Timmy and It Fits Him Like a Fluffy Mitten
32 minutes Posted Oct 22, 2026 at 5:05 am.
 — In sunny Southern California, rain counts as breaking news. And Timmy loves when something finally gets people looking up from their phones. Down in South Orange County — where a lot of the KFI audience lives — they’re dealing with the Norte Fire, king tides, and now the rain, and a local emergency has been declared. Feels like the weather’s coming at them from every direction. Over in Laguna Beach they’re doing emergency repairs on a huge crack in the PCH, right near where they stage the Pageant of the Masters.  9:20 — What’s the deal with Timmy’s giant flannel today? It’s a 3X Tall. He won’t spill the real reason, but his missus Jen will. They were up north, hit the Carhartt sale at Fred Meyer, and she spotted it on the rack and figured it was perfect for The Foosh. Timmy was freezing in Oregon, so he borrowed the gift and wore it himself. The Foosh tips the scales at 220. Timmy’s under 160. Will the shirt actually fit the intended recipient? We’re finding out live on The Conway Show.  9:35 — Timmy’s Instagram is one small push from a nice round number. Forty more followers at @conwayshow and he officially hits 105,000. Oxnard, you know what to do. Then there’s this new dinner ritual taking over kitchens: skip the plates, skip the forks, cover the table in foil, dump the whole meal in the middle, and let everybody dig in with their hands. Pasta, meat, whatever — no cleanup, no complaints, just a free-for-all. And in other news, Costco is quietly becoming a dating destination. College kids are roaming the aisles hunting for actual face-to-face conversations, and the trend keeps growing.  9:50 — Who’s printing money right now? Those DIY car washes. When Timmy was a kid they topped out at three bucks. He went the other day and they hit him for $17. Then there’s Netflix. The streamer just cut about 1,000 people — 6% of the company, biggest round in four years. It also raised prices again earlier this year, lost the Warner Bros. bid, and pushed out content chief Bela Bajaria. Stock’s down more than 40% over the past year, and after the latest earnings it cut its ad-revenue forecast and the shares dropped again. Question is whether the new leadership can settle the investors and get people watching again.  #TimConwayJr #KFIAM640 #ConwayShow #NorteFire #SouthOrangeCounty #LagunaBeach #PageantOfTheMasters #Foosh #Carhartt #DumpDinner #CostcoDating #DIYCarWash #NetflixLayoffs #PeterRice #BelaBajaria #NetflixStock #WarnerBros #LARadio #Oxnard #SoCalRain  Thanks for listening to Tim Conway Jr. on KFI! 🎙️ See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
