Hour 1 (9.04) Sepulveda Pass on the 405 — after a rare storm dropped about 1.5 inches of rain across Los Angeles and even Antelope Valley. The much-hyped hurricane mostly fizzled into rain instead of chaos, but Long Beach and Huntington Beach are still dealing with a huge swell, and the next threat is already here: extreme heat, high humidity, and possible 100-degree temps on the coast.  

Then it’s HOA sticker shock out of Torrance, where condo owners got hit with a $50,000 special assessment each, plus a look at the viral Gen Z “darty” wellness-party trend of barely dressed college kids doing yoga and runs on frat-house lawns.
