It's the last weekend of summer for a lot of families, and it opened with hard news out of Glendale — eight children were hurt after a car slammed into a preschool. Then Neil Saavedra, the Fork Reporter, joins us as the Ridge Fire near Gorman doubles to roughly 1,000 acres with a reported fire-nado towering about 100 feet over the Grapevine, plus a motorcycle crash backing up the 15 southbound through Victorville and Hesperia. But the thread running through the whole hour is a personal one: it's been exactly one year since Stefan "The Foosh" was in his accident. We go back to that day, what the last twelve months have looked like, and — once again — a thank you to the first responders and everyone else who got him through it. Conway also gets put on trial for something entirely unrelated and considerably less heroic. Is he a selfish lover? The jury is out.
