We kick off in full nostalgia mode — MTV, the Macarena, and all the where-were-you moments that date you instantly. Bellio's husband works as an adaptive ski instructor, a certified instructor with specialized training to teach people with physical, cognitive, or sensory disabilities how to ski and snowboard safely, and it's a genuinely cool job most people don't know exists. Plus Nicolas Cage is playing John Madden in a biopic headed to Prime Video. Then KTLA's David Lazarus stops by with a deep cut: he was in "Bad News Bears" — playing for the opposing team — filmed at Mason Park in Chatsworth, Mason just north of Devonshire. Conway counters with his runway modeling era and his CB radio days talking to truck drivers. That rolls straight into a convoy conversation and the general struggle of getting along with technology, including the growing problem of Waymos hogging every good parking spot in the city. Waymo woes, fully documented. We close with the Hollywood mystery of the week: someone is apparently living inside a billboard high above the Sunset Strip, and at least one neighbor waves to him every single day.
