In this special episode, we get to interrogate and speak to men and some women about how safe is it for men in modern society to be vulnerable and open up about their struggle with mental wellness and go for therapy. Why is it "frowned upon" for men (black men in particular) to come out and say I am struggling with certain issues in my life? Why are we not making it okay for people to speak out.
What should we do as men to start opening up and creating safer spaces with our own circle of friendships and brotherhood? Why do we find it hard to speak up, why are we only comfortable to share our successes and achievements, yet we fail at being vulnerable with our peers
This episode is just the chip of the iceberg, a conversation starter which I hope will ignite change and action amongst men
