I went in a different direction in this conversation. This episode is an editorial. It’s an editorial about the current conversation we’re all living inside of.

From my point of view, the goal for a conversation is to gain agreement for action. But in groupthink, the desire for agreement does not necessarily come from a needs-based solution-oriented dialogue. Rather in groupthink, there’s a tendency for people to want agreement at all costs and in what could later be seen as an irrational or dysfunctional decision-making outcome.
