More than that, have you ever wondered why there are so many groups with a supposedly scientific or medical purpose that are so willing to lend an air of credibility to a political agenda? It happens a lot, but the right and the left, so it is good for us as Christians to pause and consider how we ought to respond.

They have a right to say what they wish, but abortion activists are so persuaded of the moral correctness of abortion on demand that their rhetoric can sometimes be a bit harsh. Yesterday, the Supreme Court of the United States struck down DOMA and invalidated the vote of 7 million Californians who voted to define marriage between one man and one woman. After reading the court's decisions, it has made me pause to consider the tremendous power that the Supreme Court has demonstrated. Does that make us more free?

From Leroy Carhart, to Kermit Gosnell, to Douglas Karpen, the news is reporting a lot of bad stuff coming out of the supposedly beneficial abortion industry. Any attempt to regulate such an industry - if only to ensure equipment is properly sterilized - is met by a vicious response by abortion industry advocates.
