Martin Luther Jackson was giving his speech in 1963 from the Lincoln Memorial when he began to falter. Mahalia Jackson, a Grammy awarded gospel singer and close friend saw him struggling and called out " tell them about the dream, tell them about the dream Martin" and Martin put the prepared speech to the side and riffed from the heart and his 'I Have a Dream Speech ' became one of the greatest speeches in history.
