Helping people make the connection that living your best life is all about making the right connections.
Resilience
What is resilience. The ability to mentally or emotionally cope with a crisis or return to pre-crisis status quickly.. resilience exists when the person uses mental processes and behaviors in promoting personal assets and protecting self from the potential negative effects of stressors.. When I am working with a client I am helping them create a stronger resilience factor. I do this in helping them assess their primary and secondary food sources. Like I keep saying! Primary doesn’t come on a plate but it does nourish us and feed us in meaningful ways. What I am calling secondary food does come on our plate and it does matter what we put into our bodies for nourishment.

Mindfulness
We are an automatic people! We live on autopilot. Have you ever set out on a destination, maybe a place you go everyday and you leave your home  and then get to your destination and wonder how you got there? That’s because so many things become automatic to us. We don’t always have to think about it we just do it. Well I would like us to start thinking more about it. The more mindful the more intention we put into things the more energy we derive from it.

Stillness
Today I would like to coach you in creating stillness in your life. Finding spirituality, the quiet, the connection to your spirit, your higher self. I know that for each of us what spirituality looks like maybe different , and at the same time recognize that there are patterns of sameness in what is deemed spiritual by all of us. So the question today is how can spirituality nourish your life?

Lean Into What You Love
PRIMARY FOOD FEEDS US, BUT IT DOESN’T COME ON A PLATE. • Primary food includes elements like…… a meaningful spiritual practice……. an inspiring career, regular and enjoyable physical activity, and honest and open relationships that feed your soul and your hunger for living. A meaningful career or life’s work, creativity. Did you know that every spiritual tradition that encourages people to fast does so partly to let individuals have time to reduce secondary food, thus allowing for a greater awareness of primary food. I personally have invested some time and research into intermitted fasting as a way to improved health and wellbeing, in my personal experience in fasting I have discovered the areas of where my primary food has been out of balance. As I have taken time to fast from food going into my body, it has allowed me to focus in on areas like being more creative, finding my strengths and talents, and leaning into those areas more and eating less. • The more primary food we receive, the less we depend on secondary food. The opposite is also true. The more we fill ourselves with secondary food, the less we are able to receive the primary food of life. So if you are journaling a great place to start is in exploring your primary food sources.  Are you lacking in…… creativity? Joy? Physical activeity, Health, home cooking.Or today just think about What primary nutrition sources can you stand to get more of?
