Cody’s got the 🔑 🔑
I’ve never seen an artist be as vulnerable about their process, thoughts, and approach as Cody. They’re constantly dropping blueprints for how they move, and that makes me appreciate the craft of what they create even more. It’s like a real-time, behind-the-scenes look at Cody’s practice and if you’re into that sort of thing, you’ll love this show.

My Wednesday treat
I have been following Cody Cook-Parrott for a few years now—reading their newsletter and listening to this podcast. In many ways they are a creative guidepost for me as they offer up copious amounts of wisdom from hard-won lessons, admirable vulnerability and transparency, generous resources, and super interesting guests. I love the way they and their guests delve into their own creative endeavors and I feel so inspired as I soak it all in.

One of my podcast faves
There’s no one quite like Cody to leave me feeling sparkly and inspired at the end of every podcast episode. Common Shapes continues to be one of my favorite podcasts, and is absolutely essential to my creative life!

Marlee makes it all so simple
I’m bursting with inspiration after listening to a few of Marlee’s episodes. They GET how to live a realistic creative life and show up as your authentic self, and they help you get there too, step by step. Thank you for your wisdom and for teaching me more about how to weave my values into how I show up online, and as an authentic artist.

Common Shapes Is A Guiding Light
This podcast has felt like a such a powerful guiding light to me as a both an artist and human being. Since discovering this via sub-stack newsletter I’ve felt deeper clarity about the way I view my work as a writer, music practice, and the way my work can become not only sustenance for me but the world around us. Thank you for being so powerful, illuminating and deeply human. I am excited to start the creative ideation portal and to use the tools you’ve given as a way to connect more deeply to all of my creative pursuits.
