Purple Start - A Bill to Honor Veteran Families Coming Home Well is working hard to build support for the Purple Star Families Week Act. House Resolution 734 (H.Res.734) is a bipartisan bill (now with 62 original co-sponsors as of December 2019) that designates the week of September 20-26, 2020, as Purple Star Families Week. Purple Star families are those that have lost a veteran family member to suicide and with this resolution will see those we have lost honored by reuniting families with the veteran community. The vote is scheduled for May 2020 unless the number of co-sponsors (218) triggers an automatic vote at an earlier date!
