This last week I took a trip with my friend Johnathan Hogan to Vail, Co. I am not a great skier so I don't know why in the world Johnathan asked me to join, I think it was for the levity of watching me fall down every mountain in Vail but I am so glad he did.  Starting from the drive from Denver to Vail and the breathtaking views of seeing Elk and Buffalo on I- 70 to the incredible sights of Vail. He and I hooked up when we got back and discussed our adventure. I have literally traveled the world and to me, Vail was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. In this podcast, we talk about food, skiing, how men need adventure, family, whiskey and a ton of other stuff.  

This week I am so happy to have Sid Sexton on the Comeback dad. Sid is a dear friend but more than that he is the quintessential example of a Comeback Dad. We sat down and discussed: kids, marriage, addiction, health, sports, and business. Sid's tenacity for life, family and discipline is what made me intrigued with his story. In business, he has grown his landscape company to be one of the largest companies in Alabama. His abilities have taken him to the pinnacle of respect in the business community. In this latest episode of The Comeback Dad, I want to introduce you to my friend, Chris Estes. A native of New Orleans, Chris had a passion for music from a young age. After growing up in a dysfunctional and violent household, Chris found himself turning to drugs and other substances to cover the wounds of his youth while pursuing a career in the music industry. It came to a head-on Christmas Day when he told himself he would either turn back to his family or end his life. God intervened. Today, Chris and his wife have been married for 21 years and have two children. He's spent more than 25 years in the music industry working with some of the most renowned Christian labels in the world including Integrity Music, Hillsong, Hillsong United, Hillsong London, and most recently as Chief Business Development Officer at Bethel Music in Redding, California.  Listen to this episode to hear how it took hitting rock bottom for Chris to come to the full realization of who God is and where his comeback has taken him since.
